Private, Peaceful Log Cabin w/ wrap around porch and fireplace. Central location

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast. The welcome gift was very thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

This cabin was perfect. They thought of everything. It was very clean. Check-in process was seamless and it was still very close to everything.

Perfect cabin for 3 moms and their kids to get away for a weekend stay and Tweetsie visit. The kids loved the yard and rocks to climb on, the covered porch was great for a rainy/drizzly afternoon, and the carpeted stairs and loft area made for a very cozy and safe play area. We had no complaints. The location was perfect, and I also appreciated the baby/kid friendly laundry detergent, shampoos and soaps. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We wanted to enjoy App State’s Parents Weekend and still have all the amenities of home. This property had everything we needed - linens, cooking supplies, outdoor games, TV and fireplace, and that cozy feel that just says “welcome”. Our son came over with some of his dorm mates for a home cooked meal. Then easily went back to his dorm while we enjoyed our own space. I highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, it had everything we needed and then some. Margaret was gracious enough to allow us early entry to accommodate our travel. We would stay here again when in the area. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the back deck!

Great space for family and friends. Very close to App. State, Boone and App. ski mountain. Beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Will definitely try to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Our host took efforts to put out some Christmas decorations and leave us a kind welcome gift. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Just a few short minutes into Boone and readily accessible to the three area ski resorts made this a great place for us.

I want to start the review by saying I NEVER leave reviews... but I always relay on them when making a booking decision for myself. We almost did not book this place because it did not have any reviews but we are so glad we did and knew we needed to leave one! This trip was with 2 families, 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The house was so clean and provided everything needed while still having plenty of space to store any food or supplies that you may bring. It was easy to access and though pretty close to town was still tucked away. We loved that there was a back way to Blowing Rock so we didn't have to fight traffic in town of we didn't want to. I had some communication with the owner prior to arriving and she was always very timely with responces. The house included some of the nicest touches with a welcome gift, treats on the beds and various games like corn hole, a grill, and fire pit provided. We would highly recommend this locations and are likely to book again!
