Private Northwoods Retreat

Host had great communication. House was spacious and perfect for large family. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom nice and super clean. We had a really fun time!

The first thing I noticed when we entered was how clean it was, it’s even nicer in person than in pictures. I love how homey/cozy it feels- like you have a family member letting you stay in their home and less like you’re staying in a hotel. We could find anything we needed easily. Brenda was so easy to communicate with and really cared that we had a great stay. We would absolutely book here again!

Nice cabin

The property was exactly as pictured. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The grounds were well kept and beautiful with flowers. We enjoyed the deck for coffee in the morning and talks during the day. We had a bonfire and s'mores in the evening. It is a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place to get away!

Perfect spot for overflow from our cabin.

House was exactly as listed. Tons of extra blankets, bedding, towels, etc. Plenty of paper products and garbage bags provided. In fact, we already booked a stay for August 2026!

This large home was perfect for our group, providing comfortable bedrooms and lots of hangout space. They had everything we needed and communication with the host was prompt and responsive. We have another home nearby and this was our overflow for a large gathering, and we would gladly book it again in the future.

It was extremely clean, the property was extremely well kept. The amenities were much greater that we ever could have imagined - besides the standard (towels, soap, etc.) we had books, magazines, games and kitchen equipped with everything including beautiful dishes. Location was great for all kinds of adventures, but was very secluded and private.

There are 4 of us who go twice a year for the weekend. We stayed close to home this time. Our cabin was great!! We were in the woods, not far but what a spectacular weekend we choose! Our cabin was clean which is a big deal to me!! Beautiful wall of windowa. We enjoyed the fire. Will definitely recommend this place!!

This was a perfect place for our group to stay while in the area for my son's wedding! The lovely house is set on a secluded, quiet, woodsy lot -- beautiful location! The kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare our meals; the gas grill was perfect for an easy outdoor meal. There's lots of comfy furniture for lounging plus plenty of outdoor seating on the deck and by the firepit. The house is well-kept, super clean, and very organized. Books, games & puzzles are found throughout the house. The owner is friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

I have a big family and it was surprising to see this place has lots of bed. WiFi and TV is available and we got to watch the Minnesota Twins play on TV while we were there. We also got to see the northern lights while we were there on our first night but we have to drive to the lake to see it. We hiked at interstate park Wisconsin,we ate at that otter restaurant ( and they have very good pizza!) and we walked around the city Balsam Lake. This place was a perfect place to stay with the whole family!

This is a beautiful property nestled in the woods, but not far from town. It is great for families. There's plenty of sleeping space, so you're not on top of each other or shoved all into one room. The nearby beach was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My family and I enjoyed our time here. The cabin had lots of room for everyone to spread out and it was very clean. One of the best places I have stayed.
