Quiet remote retreat near the national park. Very secluded and we made friends with the goats. Would stay again.

We booked this on the last minute for a weekend getaway to New River Gorge. Everything went smoothly and the property was fantastic. Every detail regarding directions was clear and easy to follow. It is behind a locked gate and very secure and no other people are around. Very quiet and great views. The host called us the morning before check-in to see if we had any questions and to verify the directions. The cabin was very well furnished and very clean!! Overall, this is a 10 out of 10

My wife and I took a weekend get away for our anniversary trip. This cabin was beautiful, cozy, and clean. An absolutely wonderful stay, everything we needed was there and clear instructions for checking in and out. Hot tub with the surrounding wildlife made for gorgeous evenings!

This home is beautiful and the location is very private. Very clean, well decorated, and blends perfectly into its surroundings. Host had great communication and even answered some questions I asked about how they did some of the finishings. We will definitely go back. Excellent getaway.

Shanna and Paul were excellent hosts. Helping us to sort out how to get the gate lock open (just read all the instructions and you will be fine!) and coming to our aid when needed something. Highly recommend.

This cabin is a perfect retreat. We spent 5 nights here. Quiet peaceful Mountain View’s offered us time to relax. The cabin is very quaint and had everything we needed. It was close to the National Park sites we wanted to see. Our hosts Shanna and Paul were very quick to answering questions and even shared what chemicals they use in the hot tub. We will definitely stay here again if we return to this area. A great stay and we highly recommend it.

This is such a beautiful and idyllic setting. The house was very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was perhaps the best stocked with cooking supplies of any we have stayed in. As we like to cook, we really appreciated having the right pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay. We did a quick National Park weekend getaway and the rental had everything we were looking for. The hot tub in the open area was great and we could see the stars without all the light pollution.

Cabin was very clean, well stocked, and exactly as described. Host was responsive and very easy to communicate with. Overall we had an outstanding stay and hope to return soon.

This property was perfect for the quiet, relaxing weekend we needed. The wildlife was wonderful, as were the goats. Plenty of walking space to work off food, close enough to civilization to enjoy activities, but quiet when you get home. The hot tub was the perfect end to all the walking. Thank you Shanna, it was wonderful.

This was a great secluded and quiet location that was close to the New River Gorge. Everything was clean with a full kitchen for making meals. I would highly recommend staying there!

Property was lovely. It was a great location to the park which we came to hike. Plenty of places to eat and get groceries. Very private and quiet just like we were looking for. Saw deer and turkeys around and the goats and lots of birds.

What a treat to find this cabin for a getaway to the New River Gorge area! Secluded with all the amenities after days exploring the area! The hot tub was a treat and the cleanest one I have seen at a rental. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views

Very nice/clean place. We enjoyed our stay, it was very quiet and relaxing. We saw goats, deer, and squirrels on the property during our stay. We only stayed for the weekend but we had no problems during our stay, and we will come back again in the near future. Thanks!

The cabin was perfect with beautiful views and truly away from it all while still being close to everything. It was super clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking again.

We had a fantastic stay and hope to return. The hosts were very kind, communicative, and responsive. We loved the hot tub - especially after long days of hiking and rafting. Chalet is beautiful, well-equipped, and in such a serene location.

Great place, very clean

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to check out the New River Gorge area. The cabin was exactly as described! It is very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. The view from the back window and deck is awesome. It is so quiet and calming and we loved getting to see the goats in the evening. It’s a nice location for enjoying the New River Gorge and still close to grocery stores and basic shopping needs. Shanna’s directions to get to the cabin were awesome. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

The perfect place to stay with a family when you’re hoping to explore new river gorge

This chalet had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy! The setting couldn’t have been more peaceful! Shanna was lovely - we had a bee issue around the hot tub and she came within the hour to help sort it out. If we venture into the area again we will definitely stay here!

This place was perfect. We went on a girls trip and it was the perfect place to stay and relax. We were in the hot tub every night, looking at all the stars and hearing the owls. It’s close to Fayetteville and Beckley. We were easily able to run out to dinner and local attractions. We did zip lining, got massages at Glade Springs, went to Grandview Outlook, the Grist Mill at Babcock State park, and Summersville lake. It was wonderful to also stay in a just relax. The place is spotless and well stocked. You’re the only cabin down a long, gated road so we felt very safe. We met the owner and she was readily available via text. We would come back and highly recommend this cabin.

Great secluded property with a great view of the mountains and the neighbors goat pasture.The accommodations are well maintained and spacious. Everything was well provisioned with an obvious care that the guests have everything needed. We’ll done.

The cabin is just as listed! Clean, comfortable, and a great piece of property. We loved the hot tub and proximity to New River Gorge NP. The house has everything you need to cook in all meals, lots of games to play, and beautiful scenery. We would love to come back!

This was a gorgeous cabin in a beautiful setting. Completely private and stunning views! This cabin had all the amenities and was very clean and well cared for. 20 min from the Gorge visitor center and all the recreational activities nearby. The detailed directions to get to the cabin were perfect. 10/10 would stay there again!

We loved everything about this place. Super cozy, comfortable, and the hot tub is amazing. Located off the beaten track but easily accessible. We had a wonderful week, including a white xmas.

Picture-perfect setting and picture-perfect cabin made for an amazing stay. The New River Gorge has amazing hikes and there are many great places to eat. The hot tub at the cabin makes for a perfect ending to the day.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We had deer in the back yard nightly. It is centrally located to everything we wanted to see. The owner was SO NICE and check in and out was so easy!

Loved the privacy and close to New River Gorge.
