Private Mountain Rock Cabin with Spectacular Views

It’s been a year since we celebrated our wedding at The Lantern Lodge and Rock Cottage, and it truly was our dream come true — surrounded by family, breathtaking mountain views, vibrant fall colors, and unforgettable sunsets. For our first anniversary, we returned to The Rock Cottage to relive those precious memories, and it was just as magical as the first time. We fell in love with this place all over again and would stay here every year for our anniversary if we could. Beyond the Lantern Lodge and Rock Cottage is Jessica! She is an absolute joy to work with — kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. She truly is a key part of what makes the experience so special.

My parents and I absolutely loved our short stay at the Rock Cabin. It was located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. The grounds around the cabin are gorgeous and it has a breathtaking view. We sat on the balcony to watch the sunset and sunrise over the mountains, and marveled at God's creation on full display. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The host also sweetly left us a welcome basket with all of the ingredients to make smores. We are looking forward to staying here again someday!

I just returned home today from staying 5 days in the cutest/coziest/quiet/peaceful/ stay ever. I stayed in the Rock Cottage..(I call it the Little Rock cabin).It was everything I would want and more. Nobody next door (next to me) hollering..screaming..no kids crying..nobody talking into the night thru the walls.NOBODY whatsoever around anywhere. It was perfect for a little getaway..which I do often. Jessica could not have been sweeter/nicer/more efficient/and more “on the spot” to offer anything I needed. Always just a text away and this was before I even arrived..during my stay..and day of departure. She deserves a “10” in my book!! The cabin was the best..I will not stay in a place without a deck/balcony, so I lived every morning with my coffee on the deck and every evening watching the sun go down.what a sight to behold. The ice maker was the absolutely best in the kitchen.Perfect small pebbles of ice always ready for my enjoyment..Never seen this in a condo/hotel/or another cabin. GREAT idea!! Loved the timer lights coming on on the outside of the Lodge. These were beautiful and gave me light without being upon this mountain in the dark. Kitchen was perfect even though I do not cook but frig was fantastic size with great freezer room on bottom…and the coffee POT was the best ever. All in all, the deck was the best with the most beautiful view / sunset in the evenings. Peace surrounded me & I didn’t want to leave when I did☺️

The cabin was a perfect little getaway for our anniversary! The cabin had a beautiful view from the balcony. Since we only stayed a few days we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, the Blairsville itinerary, and all of the amenities. Perfect for feeling like you’re secluded in the mountains with only a 10 minute drive to downtown Blairsville. Would stay again and highly recommend!

The property was everything we hoped it would be. Beautiful views and great location. Close to hiking trails and Blairsville. Only a short but breathtaking ride to Dahlonega and Blue Ridge.

Gorgeous pathway and fireplace area ideal for 4 people or less and pleasant weather because there’s no sitting area in the inside and the king size bed suffers (springy) however they do have chairs on the balcony facing the view ☺️

The Rock Cabin is a lovely place to stay! It sits on a beautiful property and the views are amazing. The cabin itself is nicely furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The property manager (Jessica) is responsive and very knowledgeable about the area. It is the perfect place to stay for a getaway to Northern Georgia!

We booked it to help prepare for a wedding at that same venue in March. Since it was our anniversary anyway we stayed in the cottage; It was quite romantic when it rained on one of the days there; but we kept cozy in the quaint, well-appointed cottage. Jessica, the property manager, is awesome and very flexible with our needs/requests. We look forward to our daughter's wedding there in a few weeks!

We stayed at the Mountain Rock Cabin and loved it. Don’t let the cabin size fool you! This place was so nice! It sits on the most beautiful property around. The outdoor amenities are incredible. It’s perfectly located between 2 towns that are very different with each offering amazing character. Additionally, the property manager was extremely helpful and responsive to every communication and request we had. We made some lifelong memories hope to return soon!

Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! Perfect little escape! The cabin is precious and the outdoor fireplace is fabulous! And the views were simply stunning!
