Private Cabin with Views, Fenced Yard, Gameroom, Gas Fireplace, Central Location

This is a beautiful cabin that is well stocked with everything you need. Very comfortable and cozy. It was decorated for Christmas when we went - we just got home today. We didn’t want to leave!!! We’ve stayed in a lot places but this has been the best by far!!!

Very private setting. The host had everything you could think of available. We loved sitting on the different decks having coffee. We saw a red fox a couple of mornings and a doe one evening. We fell in love with the area. We're coming back again next year!

This place was exactly as described. It had everything and more than we needed. The linens smelled so fresh and clean, plenty of little extra touches to make the stay more pleasant, room for pups to run. Just perfect

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. Our host was fantastic and communicated everything clearly. The views from the back deck are amazing and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Lake Lure!

the cabin was lovely, Wayne was very helpful. We did some cooking & I appreciated how well stocked the cabin was w pots & pans, utensils, even a nice collection of spices. Bathrooms were similarly well stocked w toiletries if you forgot something, we had a wonderful weekend & highly recommend the cabin for a stay

Host has thought of everything between extra sheets, extra blankets, beach coolers, extra soaps (if you happened to forget yours), extra towels, dog toys....everything! This is our first time renting on VRBO and I will have to say we have very high expectations going further. We drove in from Michigan and after telling Wayne we wouldn't be in until around 7pm he made sure the property manager left some lights on for us in case we came in after dark. This cabin is absolutely beautiful and would LOVE to come back soon!!! 10/10 would recommend!!

The property exceeded our expectations in both cleanliness and coziness. It was the perfect anniversary get-a-way for my wife and I and our four legged Potcake dog, Figgy.

This cabin was well stocked with everything anyone would ever need. Out of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at, this one was the best. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Our cabin stay was simply perfect. This was one of the best stocked cabins I've stayed in. Our teen loved the downstairs game room and the adults appreciated the laid back charm and ease of the cabin and amenities. The view was lovely!We loved how dog friendly it was, too. We will definitely return.

This place is just awesome! The location is incredible, the house is fully stocked, it’s clean and comfortable. It is in close proximity to some fabulous restaurants. Wayne is great to work with. We just loved being able to stay here and can’t wait to return! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Fabulous getaway and dog friendly!! Would definitely recommend. Has all the comforts of home! Had a slight power outage and the owner kept me informed. Did not hinder my trip at all. The mountains are for unplugging.

We were pleasantly surprised as the cabin was even better than described on VRBO. The bed was so comfortable and we had a large walk-in closet The kitchen was the most stocked of any place we have ever stayed. We took our 2 fur babies. The back yard was fenced in and our larger dog enjoyed it. The fireplace was perfect. Overall it was a great value and we would definitely stay again. The owner should be very proud of this cabin.

The cabin was more than what we expected. It looked amazing from the listing but when you get there the comfort and coziness hits you from the moment you walk in. Everything you need and everything you’d want for a getaway with the family. Quiet and peaceful during the day and nights! Not too far from some main attractions and parks. My pup loved it and so did the family.

Had a perfect stay at Wayne’s cabin!! Comfy and cozy cabin with everything you could need. Super clean! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Beds are comfy. Wayne thought of everything. Great guidebook for area. Great location….Ingles and Lake Lure restaurants are very close by. Beautiful and peaceful views from the decks. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended!!!

It is a wonderful property, and Wayne has done a great job with it! We will be renting it again this summer.

Cabin had enough sleeping space for 8. I was able to hide from my dogs and a get a couple of good nights of sleep in the hideaway queen in the basement. Wayne was super friendly when I was asking for information on things to do around there. Property was very pet friendly with fenced in yard and our dogs enjoyed being there. Cabin's location was great,close to Lake lure and Chimney rock. We'll be back here

The cabin had an amazing wrap around porch which was perfect for our dog. The yard was a little steep for him to play, but the roads are perfect for taking a nice hike. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than anything we needed. Owner was friendly and responsive to our needs. There always local green space we visited twice with our dog which was a lovely place. We would recommend this cabin to others; it was time of pure relaxing.

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin with our family! It was just as described, and honestly, it was one of the best-stocked rentals we've ever stayed in. There were plenty of flashlights for everyone when the power went out after a tree fell and took out the lines—so thoughtful! Wayne was an awesome host and responded super quickly to any questions we had. We're already looking forward to coming back in the future!

Wonderful relaxing stay.

Our family of five had a great time at the cabin! The host was great and incredibly accommodating. I messaged him that the coffee pot wasn’t working; he had an extra one in the cabinet to utilize and then had a brand new one sent to the cabin a day later! The cabin was clean and very spacious! We especially loved having the fenced yard for our dogs; this is definitely not something that you typically see in the mountains.

Wonderful cabin to get away and reset. This was our second stay at the cabin and we couldn’t be happier. It is so nice to bring our dog with us to come explore the area. It is quiet and cozy which helps us reset from busy life with kids and work. Would highly recommended this cabin.

We had an awesome stay at Silver Tree Cabin. It is so peaceful and quiet with the sound of nature all around you. We Loved sitting on the porch at night, listening to the crickets sing. Inside the cabin itself, it is very clean and comfortable as well as very well stocked. Wayne is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. He wasextra inviting, even to our furry babies that we were able to bring along with us (One is large in size) We were also welcomed with a special surprise for our anniversary, which I felt was so thoughtful. Gorgeous cabin! The pictures don't do it justice. Well stocked and great location. The kids loved the game room and the adults loved the views from the decks.

We booked for the weekend as we were in town for a wedding. The place had everything you could think of ready for you to use! Fully stocked and homey!

We stayed one week and the cabin was well equipped and in a good location

The cabin is clean and cozy and so homey. It was just like being home. Love, I got to bring with fur babies, and they had their own space.

We were excited for a longer return stay in Lake Lure.The cabin was just as we remembered it from 3 years ago - very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxing mountain area getaway! We loved being close to Ingles, and the Lake House and Canoe Restaurants. We also enjoyed visiting the Tryon Equestrian Center where some of the Chimney Rock Village shops were able to set up temporarily after the damages from Helene. This was our 4th trip to the Lake Lure Area. Cannot wait to come again in the Fall!

This cabin was perfect for myself, my partner and 2 dogs. It was fully equipped and easily accessible. I did not have to reach out to the owner for anything, but they seemed very responsive if I did need anything. we will definitely book the cabin again in the future.

We had such a great time at Silvertree Cabin! Wayne was very helpful and responsive before booking and remained the same after booking. The cabin was clean and comfortable with beautiful views! We were so happy that this cabin allowed bigger dogs and we were able to bring our boy with us. He had a great time running around the yard and up and down the stairs. We hope to stay again very soon!

Perfect for a quiet get away.

We truly felt made at home at the cabin. Awesome mountain cabin with lots of amenities shared for use. Great communication from the host both before and during our stay. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs!

This is a very nice older home. Everything thing we needed was at the home. On a road with no traffic. Location very peaceful and quiet. Will come here again.

Wayne is an excellent host, Betty Jo always makes my return visits special! I didn’t check in until 2-3 AM and Betty Jo always has it well lit. The property is always well maintained. I took full advantage of the fireplace this trip and we got snow. Silver tree cabin is my ideal getaway to reconnect with myself. Lake Lure is coming back to life !!!Thank you so much Wayne and Betty Jo!!! See you in a few months!!!

Amazing views. Cute little cabin.

We truly enjoyed getting away for a few days to relax and spend time together. The host was more than gracious and very helpful before and during our stay. We even enjoyed cinnamon rolls left in fridge for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the cabin. Between the wrap around porch and fenced in area for the dogs which was perfect. It was very nice and much needed getaway.

Wayne was an incredible host and was so communicative. The home is absolutely wonderful and the perfect cabin to rest and recharge with beautiful views all while still being close to the best of lake lure. The cabin has literally everything you could possibly need and more. I’m so grateful for the town’s kindness and how welcoming they were to us despite Helene. We cannot wait to be back!

Lovely location very quiet and private but only a few minutes to restaurants and grocery. A true log cabin, appropriately rustic and very well appointed.

My sister and I had our annual getaway at the cabin and it was wonderful! All the porch sitting one could desire, a fully equipped kitchen for meals in and a clean and airy common area. We enjoyed playing foosball and chess as well as our outdoor relaxation time and it’s just a short drive into town for groceries, dining out or activities. Our dog enjoyed her time so much that she staged a protest when it was time to leave- it was so pleasant to be able to let her be free on the porch because of the gate across the front entrance. Overall a 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin with our kids and pups! It met all of our needs and we cannot wait to come back!
