Private Cabin with Pond on Family Farm

This was our second time staying at this rental and it was so peaceful.

This space was perfect for our crew. After long hours working, it was great to come home to this peaceful location. The guys absolutely loved it and the host was fantastic. Communication was quick and everything was as expected. We will definitely keep this place in mind if we come back to this area. Highly recommend!

Tom was very welcoming, when we arrived, he escorted us to the cabin. Upon entry he explained all the features of the cabin and showed us how to operate everything. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Cozy and private. Well furnished; pillows and towels were very soft. Farmer owned & operated!

Tom always has the cabin clean & in great shape. It is a quiet and very peaceful location. The Christmas tree & decorations makes it an ideal place to get the family together for Christmas.

Stayed here with my adult siblings for our mom's 83rd birthday. The property is beautiful and well-maintained and Tom was very friendly and informative throughout our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We didn't see any deer (probably we were too loud and scared them all away), but my sister and I enjoyed hanging out with the farm cats (kittens!) during the day. You're just a short drive from town if you're looking to do more activities or check out holiday lights. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

One of the main things we wanted from this cabin was seclusion. Unfortunately this cabin did not offer that as it advertised. The cabin while being further back into the woods is directly situated from a large house across the pond with no curtains in the main room and every other but one anytime the people came in or out we could see them and they could see us at night this was especially disturbing as the car headlights would shine directly into the house reminding us we are not secluded. While taking a nap in the cabins we heard a strange noise outside our “secluded cabin” it was a group of people in a hay rack ride about fifteen in total. Normally wouldn’t care about this but you cannot market something as private or secluded and bring all those people hooting and hollering. The staff excuse was that the son didn’t know anyone was staying at the cabin, but as he was coming down the hill our car would have been in plain view and proceeded down and pulled the hay rack passed our car to go deeper on the property. Other issues included the cleanliness of the cabin. We consistently ran into dead and live bugs in the cabin. There was hornets nests out by the pond under the umbrella and they were flying around making being on the patio uncomfortable, spider webs all across the property. The check in process wasn’t communicated properly. The bakery was closed and we had to locate someone else for the key to check in. We had to go ask for basic things like trash bags.there is more

Great place to stay .. close to family we were visiting.Very private and quiet.

This cabin was ideal, located in a great area and was easy to find. It was big enough for 4 people to sleep and have additional family over with plenty of room. The host was very easy to talk with and the check in and out process was simple. Our dog loved the land and had lots of room to run around. The deck is great to sit outside in the morning times. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area visiting family.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway close to home. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Farm stand and bakery are a plus!

Perfect, quiet, private, well equipped family cabin with a rural feel, but has easy access to everything in the area. Loved the pond with ducks and fish for relaxing on the deck as well as the delicious small bakery and homemade country store items just up the road!! We will definitely book this again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The location is perfect next to the farm but also very quiet with a wonderful view over the pond. My son (who loves tractors) couldn’t be happier :)

My family of 5 plus our two dogs had a great stay. Although the cabin is located on a farm/orchard, it is very private. It was super clean and homey on the inside. Tom, the owner, showed us the way to the house and made sure that we could find everything that we needed in the house pointing out light switches, extra linens, and other necessary information. We made some stops at the farm store for gooey butter cake, apple cider donuts, apple butter, and fresh peaches. While the deck and pond were lovely, it was too hot during our stay to spend much time enjoying them.

We enjoyed our stay at this little cabin with its own pond! Tom was very personable and courteous when we had to contact him. Gave us a tour of the cabin and was very open to us letting us have our own run of the place and even have a team get together (which didn’t get to happen because of our own time issues). Cabin was as advertised and we would come back again!

We stayed 3 nights, while competing at an event at the World Shooting Complex, about 35min away. The cabin was very clean, well equipped, we needed to bring nothing. Nice, quiet and secluded. I got the keys from the young lady at the farm market store, and dropped them in the mailbox, as we left in the early morning. Will definitely stay here again next time we come to the area.

The cabin is the perfect place to visit with our family. Quiet location on an orchard. Cabin is fully equipped for multi - day visits. Tom Range is a wonderful host.

Everything was wonderful!! Used as a place for bridesmaid to get ready on morning of wedding! Highly recommend this cabin. Cozy, quiet place tucked away on a farm. The host is very nice and personable!

What an amazing week of rest and relaxation! The setting is beautiful with a wonderful view. It is set back in the timbers with complete privacy, yet convenient and close to activities if so desired. There in an orchard store with wonderful in-season produce. The owner (and staff) are all so friendly! We are hopeful to book again and highly recommend others who are looking for a get-away vacation!

Spacious cabin overlooking a beautiful pond, yard & orchard. Grandkids enjoyed catching fish, seeing deer and turtles. Nice quality bath towels & all the comforts of home. Host is so kind & friendly, excellent to communicate with! We definitely will be returning in the future!

The cabin is a tidy and relaxing spot convenient to Belleville and Mascoutah, but just away from it all enough to get some peace and quiet. Tom is a friendly property owner who made us feel welcome and was helpful with any requests. Loved it!

In town for a soccer tournament and had 4 kids. Perfect place for us to rest and eat between events. Hosts were so gracious with our arrival time. Wonderful conversation with the farm owner. This was a last minute find, but we want to go back, especially during their market season. Thanks for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay. The patio/decks were great and there’s furniture all around so you can sit wherever. The view of the water was peaceful. We went in March so the trees were still bare, but I’m betting it will be even better once everything grows in! The inside is clean and there is no clutter. All amenities listed were available and worked properly. The upstairs living room was like a sunroom, the uncovered windows allowed for lots of light to come through. We enjoyed the property and Tom was a great host!

Tom is just amazing. We were able to buy a dozen fresh farm eggs, and he even brought us apple cider donuts from their own bakery and they were delicious! This cabin is perfect for the peaceful and relaxing vacation we intended on getting while staying in Illinois. If I could give him 10 Stars I would I highly recommend an we will be returning in the future. The cabin had everything we needed, Bed is also comfortable. We just fell in love with it's unique charm and the area itself. You can't find any other place like this one around.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming little cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and the location is so so beautiful. Also, Tom is an amazing and responsive host! We will absolutely stay here again in the future.

We were looking for a home in the Belleville area for a family visit. This cabin fit the bill! It was a 2 story, but we only used the upper level. The hosts were very polite and accommodating. The orchard has a bakery during growing season, but, they had frozen gooey butter cake, and donuts we were able to purchase and sample...yummm. We would definitely stay here again if it's available.

We stayed in this cabin for the second year in a row now, were just as satisfied as the first time. It is a nice little place away from the city just enough to relax in the quiet but also not having to drive far to get to the city. As always, check in process was easy with very friendly service. By the way, if you're ever checking in during the orchards off season, you can still ask for Their famous apple cider donuts or gooey butter cake! They may have some left in the freezer!

Wonderful time with friends enjoying the cabin at Christmas time. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and watching the wildlife-especially the duck couple! Highly recommend this place!

This was our second stay at this property and we are already planning two trips there in 2025. It is always a pleasure to see Tom Range when we visit. You can always tell that Tom sincerely cares about his guests. One of our family says that the cabin looks like something in a Hallmark movie.

We loved the cabin! Owners were so kind and accommodating! Beds & pillows were feathery and so comfy! We loved having 2 complete levels to spread out in. We had a great time and will definitely book again!! Our only ding in an otherwise perfect review is that the oven didn’t work very well & we couldn’t see the oven temp hardly at all. It was a little frustrating trying to cook for a family. Also, only service for 4 for a cabin that sleeps 6. Good thing we brought our own paper plates. But otherwise a great little rental and we loved all the space! That was really nice for playing games & spending time.

We are here visiting family and needed a peaceful place to stay. This was exactly what we needed. When we come back to the area, we WILL stay here. Thank you for a great vacation

Our daughter was getting married at the wine garden across highway 15. We stayed for the weekend and had the bridal party Get ready in the cabin and took family pictures there after. The grounds were picture worthy! It was so peaceful and everybody had a great time

Wonderful quiet time with the family. A chance to disconnect and focus on what matters most. The farm, apple picking, fresh doughnuts just made it that much more special.

Great place for a peaceful getaway. Cabin and surroundings are beautiful. Tom is a wonderful host. He spends a lot of time with his guests to acclimate us with everything in the cabin and some history on the farm and the cabin. We have already booked again for a visit in December.

They were very accomodating in the check in/check out process. The property was fantastic, clean, updated, and the perfect stay while participating in a nearby tournament. They had a marketplace and bakery onsite, which we visited every day. Fresh food/pastries, etc. We will want to book this property every year. Excellent!!!
