The property was located within easy driving distance from all of the major attractions in the area. Clean and comfortable, we loved it. I will stay here again and highly recommend this as an option for anyone looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.

I forgot an important item behind after we left, and the owner let me come back and pick it up, for which I'm very grateful. The place was very clean and had an excellent hairdrier.

This cabin was so cute; clean and very well equip. The view was excellent and we saw deer each day; they supplied the firewood so we could have a fire. The only down fall was the noise of the traffic...on the other side of the cabin but we ignore that as much as possible. Would stay here again..

The cabin was comfortable and furnished with everything that we needed for a very satisfying stay--quiet and clean and the location was convenient for the activities that we like to take part in while we are in the Hills! Our only dislike was the placement of the TV high on the wall--we did not have a lot of need for the TV while in the Hills because we wanted to be outside--but with bad weather or other to use the TV, it was not a comfortable angle or situation. All in all, we enjoyed the cabin very much! Terry

Comfortable 1 bedroom cabin for 2 people. Easy location for getting to different parts of Black Hills, minutes away from gas stations/grocery store/restaurants but tucked away on a private property. There is a deck off the bedroom with a view only of trees, wonderful to wake up to a well. Another little deck off the kitchen for using the propane grill and dining has a good view of the hills. The host was ready for us to check in early and eager to be of any assistance. They even left us a goodie basket of homemade cookies and banana bread! Possibly the only negative was the position of the TV in the living room was difficult to get comfortable, but we barely used it. Would recommend!

Cute cabin!! Wasn't expecting to have to walk through the bathroom to get to bedroom which can be a small inconvenience at times but there were several pleasant surprises!! The hosts are really sweet and did everything in their power to accommodate all our needs! I loved it!

Excellent location near Custer Park. Enjoyed several excellent hikes while visiting. Nice kitchen and supplies with very responsive hosts and tasty banana bread. Only complaint was the bed, we are not memory foam mattress lovers and got very little sleep. Location close to local grocery store for supplies as well as great restaurants. Enjoyed burgers at the brewery and excellent food at the Begging Burro.

This cabin was in a great location. It was clean and had all the things we needed. We loved the fireplace and used it every night. The hosts were quick to respond to our texts and gave us great recommendations on places to eat, shop and visit. The welcome goodies was a nice touch. We would love to stay here again!

Great location, clean, cozy, comfortable. For people that do own cooking a few essentials are missing. Comfortable bed and surroundings. Thoughtful touches as hostess made homemade bread and bars. Fire pit and outdoor seating awesome.

Location, location. Just outside of Custer this place was an excellent place to stay for enjoying the many attractions, Mount Rushmore, Custer State park, Needles and Iron Mountain highways. The cabin was clean, safe and very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck at the end of s busy day of touring.

Very Clean! Great location to Custer and surrounding things to see and do, but still felt remote. When we got there, there were goodies on the kitchen table:). Good Communication with the host. We had a great stay while on our South Dakota trip for a whole week.

We had a great stay at this beautiful getaway cabin in Custer, South Dakota. Mt. Rushmore was our primary destination, but we found more to do than our time permitted. We had already purchased tickets for the opening of Frontier Days in Cheyenne, so had to leave early on the last morning.

The cabin was warm, very clean and inviting. The kitchen was very well stocked. We appreciated the baked goodies waiting for us upon arrival! Cheryl suggested the annual Buffalo Run which was spectacular! The area is beautiful! Custer is a quaint town, a short drive away, and supplied all our needs. It was a once in a lifetime trip for me and my husband.

The property was beautiful, up on a hill nestled in ponderosa pines, very private with decks off the front and side. We walked in the kitchen to find delicious banana bread and chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. We slept great every night. The location is just minutes from Custer State Park and Jewel Cave. We highly recommend this, you won’t be disappointed
