Private and quiet mountain getaway.

We have stayed here several times. Consistently clean and maintained beautiful cabin. The owner is always quick to respond and be helpful. Always a great place to stay

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Everything you needed was provided, clean the kitchen had everything you needed, the bed was super comfy we enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and having a glass of wine at sunset. We really felt at home this was the perfect little hideaway and still close to everything including the casino. Mike was a great host from the start we will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Everything was extremely clean, very comfortable and great amenities. After the first time of using the driveway, you get the hang of it. Close distance to Cherokee, Maggie Valley, and the Blue ridge parkway. Definitely recommend!

Great cabin stay was a bumpy road to get up but other than that no complaints

This cabin was perfect! It had everything you need and lots of small extra “personal” touches (kleenex, binoculars, etc). The cabin was very clean, the appliances looked brand new, the bathrooms were spotless…The view was great and the deck was nice (totally enclosed which is nice if you have small kiddos). We didn’t have time to use the firepit or grill but would love to next time! The driveway was a bit challenging but not too bad. Such a cozy cabin…we would choose this cabin every time!!

Always a great stay here .

Mike, was a very good host. He made sure to let me know of the weather conditions. I was nervous on how I was going to get out but it came together good. The home is very nice and spacious with the kitchen, dining and living room all open together. We stayed in the cabin the whole time we were there because of the ice and snow, mainly snow.

The house was very well taken care of. Beautiful views. Host was responsive. This was a very special trip for us. I proposed to my future wife on the porch. We will remember our time here forever. Wonderful experience all around.

Great quiet place to stay!

This is place is consistently clean and comfortable. Communication is 10:10. Everything you need is provided, views are nice, never ran out of hot water, WiFi is strong. Dollar General in Maggie Valley is only 10 min, sunsets at the new Soco Falls overlook is maybe 3 min. Super convenient to great dining, hiking, and coffee shops!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The property is exactly as described—private, quiet, and beautifully maintained—but I have to say the photos don’t do it justice. The cabin is very comfortable, thoughtfully furnished, and stocked with everything you might need. We even appreciated the snacks left for us, such a nice touch.The outdoor setting is what really made it special. The view is gorgeous, and I especially loved the moss-covered front lawn—it added so much charm. We came up on our motorcycle and had no trouble at all with the gravel road or driveway; everything was easily accessible and well maintained.The location is perfect for exploring Maggie Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all of the Smokies. Being a direct descendant of Henry Plott, I always enjoy coming back to this area, and this cabin provided the ideal home base.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

We love staying at this cabin. It is our third time staying here while visiting Maggie Valley, NC. The cabin is always very clean, welcoming and well appointed for our stay. We will definitely be back at some point in the future!

Excellent cabin for our trip. Cabin was spotless. 30 min or less to Asheville, Waynesville, Cherokee. Driveway could be a challenge for someone without 4 WD Would definitely stay again when up that way.

Nice elevation for cool getaway

You won’t find a better cabin than this in the area. Clean, super quiet and equipped with everything you need. A great launch point for every activity and relaxing when you return.

This cabin is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and very clean! It has everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable and its beautifully decorated throughout the whole cabin. We especially enjoyed the nightly sunset through the large windows of the cabin and on the porch rockers. If you're looking for a great place to stay near Maggie Valley or Cherokee, This is a great place!

We stay at this cabin every year. It is clean and peaceful. We love the mountain views and the close proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoy relaxing on the deck in the evening to watch the humming birds and the spectacular sunset. The cabin has everything you need to cook a great meal. It is easy to get to several small towns or beautiful hiking trails for a fun day out. I highly recommend booking a vacation at Mountain Time cabin.

This is our 4th stay at this cabin. We love it! Perfect for me and my husband. Quiet beautiful setting. Clean and very comfortable. We have seen bears a couple of times. Great location close to Cherokee, Maggie Valley and the Blueridge Pkwy. We will be back. Thank you for another great stay.

We wanted to take a short get away before celebrating our 50th anniversary with our family. This cabin was so clean, gorgeous and peaceful. It fit everything we expected on our list. If it was larger we would certainly bring our 20plus family members but for the two of us - it was a wonderfully romantic place to stay!

The cabin was everything as described in the post. Very quiet and private. Will definitely recommend.

It was good but the refrigerator does not work, had a note on to not turn temp lower than one the temp inside refrigerator was 55 degrees could not keep our food inside had to keep going to store to buy ice

This is a great cabin to stay in. The check-in process was super easy. We thought the cabin was super clean and very pretty inside. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. We were very happy with our rental and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you !!

Our stay at Mountain Time was wonderful. The cabin was everything we could ask for. Mike’s instructions were very helpful on how to get to the cabin. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. We plan to visit again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this cabin! A private getaway w view to rnjoy the snow! Home was well equipped and very clean and WARM! I didnt even mind getting snowed in for an extra day!! Loved this place!

We enjoyed staying in Mike's cabin again. This is our 3rd time and it feels like home away from home. Beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view. Close to Maggie Valley and not far from Cherokee. It did snow pretty good while we were there but we just enjoyed the quiet. Mike the owner did check on us and offered help if we needed it. Definitely rerecommend 4 wheel drive for the neighborhood but we had no trouble. We are already planning our next visit thanks. 4 wheel drive getting out of

This cabin was absolutely perfect!! Your attention to details was amazing and very much appreciated. The view was just what we hoped for and the peace and quiet it offered was just the respite we needed. Kudos to the owners for sharing their home!!

My husband and myself stayed from Friday to Sunday and we couldn’t have ask for a better place. The cabin was absolutely beautiful as well as peaceful and quiet. The driveway going in was little tricky in places but after a couple times in and out we had it down. We would most definitely recommend staying at this place L Bennett

We LOVED this cabin … location, coziness, quietness, cleanliness, fire pit, deck chairs, everything! We enjoyed having coffee on the deck and cooking breakfast/dinners in the cabin. We saw turkeys and their babies along with hearing owls and various birds. We felt safe. Definitely need a 4-wheel drive to get up the mountain! We will be back!!

If you enjoy a view of the mountains, quiet walks in the mornings, gentle rains and serene sunsets this may be the cabin for you. Nothing at all to complain about. The cabin promised and delivered. Enjoy
