Private Amish Log Cabin Getaway

Beautiful little cabin, very solid with heated floors! It was so quiet, and the comfy beds provided great sleep. We watched movies on the big tv and curled up for reading on the sofas. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils and dishes, so it was easy to prepare meals. Perfect place to get away from it all to relax, rewind, and renew.

It was beautiful, even though it rained most of the time. But we enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching it rain. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

The in floor heating was great. We enjoyed the porch swing on the warm day. It was a great location for what we wanted to do. Our only complaint was the double bed. They aren’t really big enough for a couple. The cabin was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The washer and dryer worked great. It is a great cabin for two people.

Nice quiet cabin would definitely stay again

Really enjoyed the seclusion of this home. Comfortable, just what you need for a relaxing vacay! Close to everything you need. We were fishing! Plenty of room for boat parking. Quaint! My only recommendation is to update the shower, but it gets the job done! Thank you for sharing your home. Host responds quickly for any questions or direction! Will definitely rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s a great little place with comfortable indoor spaces and a very private outdoor area. We especially loved the double loft for sleeping! A really cute cabin - good communication from the host as well - no issues. Would definitely stay there again.

Like all of the positive reviews prior, this cabin was a delight. Grandchild had so much fun for the 3 days we stayed. Have to return with my wife for fall hiking adventures. Everything you need except food, is pretty much provided.

Very comfortable and quiet. While the weather outside was very hot and humid the air conditioning was more than adequate to provide a very comfortable setting. There were a few minor problems with the DIRECTV thus we recommend taking some DVDs in case there are any additional complications. This however, was a minor inconvenience. Jennifer was incredible to work with. Our family was facing a significant medical crisis One week before our reservation and she was in incredibly gracious in working with us if necessary. This place is five stars all the way.

Perfect get away from it all. The porch is pretty amazing. We saw deer out the backdoor, a coyote out in the front yard, and loved the peaceful setting. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the room AC was surprisingly all that was needed to cool the whole cabin on days that it was nearly 100 outside. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this property.

We’ve been coming to the Amish Cabin for years during our hunting adventures. Always love when we get to come back to this cabin after a long day in the woods. I love the feel of the cabin, rough-cut timber, private setting in the woods, and of course the infloor heat!

Cute cabin with plenty of room for our family and a great value. Great location just far enough from town.

This cabin is made to order! My wife and I were looking for a cabin to rent close to hiking trails that was pet friendly…this cabin was perfect. This cozy get away had everything we needed to relax and recharge after a day of hiking. Out in the country, but only moments away from town. We enjoyed hiking at Wazee Lake Recreation, Black River State Forest, Perry Creek Trail, and Castle Mound Lookout! Stopping at McSweet’s Irish Pub for a drink on the river to top off our day. All places were pet friendly! The pet friendly cabin was so cozy ( floor heat was amazing ) and comfortable. The front porch was a beautiful place to chill on the porch swing, and let our dog enjoy the wildlife. You can have a fire in the fire pit, relax on the front porch or back patio…or kick up your feet and watch a dvd or dish tv. This place is perfectly cozy!

This cabin is perfect for a getaway and has all the comforts of home.

Peaceful surroundings, Was a beautiful place also very back to nature. So much to do in the area. The cabin was rustic and the outside fire pit was the perfect ending to the day

Great stay! Great time

This was the third time my family has stayed here. Just a wonderfully secluded location where we can relax for a few days. House had everything we needed.

Communication with the owner was great. The cabin is really nice, conform to the description. We really spent a nice couple of days there. Only small disappointment for us : even if it's in the middle of nowhere, it's really close to a road with significant traffic from early morning, so always a bit of noise in the background. And we were hoping to walk around the cabin, but you really cannot do anything without a car, you have either the woods (kids loved it but you cannot really walk in the woods) or the road with traffic. But the place is really nice!

This is such a perfect little hideaway and only a few minutes from trails, beach and convenient stores. Appreciate you so much for offering this cabin. Everything we needed was here and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend!

Comfy cozy cabin. Only improvement would be Wi-Fi buts it's nice to unplug.

The cabin was very nice. The living area was laid out nicely. Sleeping is in the open loft. Worked for us.
