Stayed May 23, 2026Jim was flexible with reservation changes and very accommodating with check in/out times. The furniture may be dated, but he has everything you need and then some, to include a rotary phone that the Grandsons loved! If you enjoy spectacular mountain views and find relaxation in hearing the wind blow through Ponderosa pines, this cabin is what your looking for!

Stayed Dec 24, 2025Jim is a great host! There was a small hiccup with water heaters which he quickly fixed. We left a day early and Jim refunded us before we even checked out. His cabin is beautiful and well appointed. And the views are spectacular! We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you, Jim.

Stayed Nov 24, 2024This is our second time at this property and it didn’t disappoint. The views are stunning, the home is comfortable and has everything we needed. We saw 2 deer right outside the front door. If you like hiking this is the place for you!

Stayed Jul 18, 2024I also own a property in Highland Pines but needed to rent a second one to accommodate some additional friends. What is truly unique about this property is that it has views to both the east and west- Prescott to the east and Skull Valley and magnificent sunsets to the west. The host is also responsive and wonderful to work with. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for an escape in the Pines!
