Pond Access & Private Dock: Lakeside Cabin

We have stayed at this property a year ago. It was as wonderful this time as it was the last. We had so much fun with the family. Everyone was comfortable, the weather was perfect, we hung out at the cabin as well as ventured out. Everyone agreed to try to make a tradition out of it. The cabin was clean, air conditioning as well as heater were great and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

The house and hot tub were all very clean.

We had a relaxing Girl's Trip, & this space was beautiful. If booking for a large group, the layout is GREAT! Everyone has plenty of room for themselves & the communal area has ample space for group hangout time. The house itself was clean & in great shape. The neighborhood is super quiet (save for dogs barking regularly across the street). The wildlife was SUCH a treat, a crane even hung out on the little pier in the backyard! If you're planning on fishing, I suggest checking with the property mgmt on when to expect low algae. There are plenty of extra towels, blankets & pillows. Wi-Fi worked great & the TVs had the usual streaming services. The hot tub setup was very nice. The house is in a great location: close to restaurants/shops & big lakes but far out enough for stargazing. Overall, we enjoyed it but did note improvement areas:- No toilet paper backups (VERY necessary in a rental that sleeps 12)- Upstairs shower was clogged- The one blanket we got out of a closet was dirty- No toaster & the blender was broken. Upstairs fridge barely working, not enough to keep things cold.- Many of the cupboard supplies & first aid supplies were expired (as far back as 2022)- Downstairs primary bed is HARD as a rock- It would've been nice if the cleaning folks had waited until AFTER we left to show up. They were parked down the street at 15 mins to our checkout time & it felt uncomfortable.- Conflicting check-in/out time & info between VRBO listing & Evolve communication.

We were only in town for a short amount of time but this house was beyond what we expected and in a perfect location for everything in town and our initial reason for the vacation. The house was very clean affordable and more than enough room for everyone who stayed. The owners were very accommodating and checked in from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a heads up on the best fishing spot and which bait was best to use. Everyone had so much fun fishing in the little pond right behind the house and a bonus that we didn’t need to pack our own poles. The kayaks were fun and easy to get used to for those of us with zero experience in kayaking. The kids loved watching a momma duck and her ducklings swimming around and the crane that came and visited. 5 out of 5 stars for the peace and quiet this cabin afforded and we will definitely book this house again anytime we head back north to escape the southern Arizona heat.

We had a family girls trip. Had a great time. We enjoyed the out door porch. The hot tub was really nice to have and in its own room with a heater.

This was such a great stay for our family vacation. Amy (the owner) texted me and let me know all of the information prior to our stay. We took advantage of the washer and dryer after my daughter and husband fell into the pond! :) The jacuzzi was so nice and I could see that jacuzzi coming into handy after a long day of skiing at Sunrise. Thank you for such a nice stay and we will be back!

The home is so beautiful and perfect, the location is amazing. Everything about our stay was perfect. Relaxing, fun and so enjoyable. The pond was amazing for fishing and the afternoon views. I will definitely book again.

I don't think I can put In words how beautiful this home was and how awesome of a host Amy was or even how this was a just the perfect getaway for my son's 12th birthday. But I will try. From the moment we were getting packed Amy texted me with so much useful information that I just wanted to be there already. When we got there we were met with a very clean home and a home that was so much nicer than the pictures. It was very roomy and between the pond, the deck, and the hot tub there was really nothing else we could have wanted for outer little retreat. We loved it so much that my eldest son wants to rent this house for his 21st in November. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about going out this way.
