PINE COTTAGE - Pet Friendly Lakefront Cottage on Thayer Lake

We loved our stay. The lake is so peaceful! The neighboring cabins are close, but only one other couple was there and there were no issues. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for peace, but then you are near Alden & Elk Rapids - both charming strolls near water.

The cabin is cozy and well-equipped with plenty of kitchen essentials. The bathroom and shower area are small but functional. Unfortunately, some cabinet doors are difficult to open due to ceiling construction. We appreciated the nice wooden furniture. However, decent grocery stores are far away. Overall, we enjoyed the quiet getaway.

Great little place. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs. The fire pit was great and the grill fairly clean, especially compared to most places I've stayed.

We had a terrific stay at Pibe Cottage. The cottage was very well stocked, organized and clean. We had great success fishing in the lake. The kayaks and boats were very nice to have. We will definitely be back!

I was looking to get-away to a quiet, clean lakefront property with my 2yr old lab. So grateful I found Pine Cottage! It is a beautiful setting, with thoughtful touches throughout the property.

The cottages have been very nicely updated. Very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. Kitchen is small, but adequate.

Great hosts and cozy cabin - loved our stay!

The cottage was very nice and clean. It looked like it had been totally remodeled. The windows, walls, floor, doors, furniture, appliances, furnishings, towels, linens and appliances all looked brand new. The property was on the lake and included row boats and kayaks for use of the renters. There were nice picnic tables and firepits. We had a great time.

We were up for my husbands family reunion, at his aunt and uncles cottage in Elk Rapids. We decided to get our own place because the family is getting so big. The Pine Cottage was perfect for my husband, son and myself.

All the renovations made this cabin so much better to stay in. We had stayed 3 times previous, snd it was more of a rustic fishing cabin. Now it is a perfect cabin for anyone. We had great neighbors in the cabin next door too. Only bad thing about our stay was the fishing has really slacked off in the last 5 years. We didn't catch half as many as we have in past years. Overall, i would highly recommend thus cabin to anyone looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.

Super accommodations and incredible views and location. Close to all the attractions but also somewhat secluded. Cabin was recently remolded and was perfect for my grandson and I. Would book again!

Very close to Torch Lake and many restaurants. Very quiet area.

The location was wonderful! We enjoyed the lake and all its natural beauty and wildlife. The cabin was a little rough as far as needing updates, especially the plumbing fixtures. The bed and bedding were great! Very nice and private for us and the dogs.
