Perfect Brainerd Cottage on Upper South Long Lake for friends and family.

Very nice cabin, clean and had everything we needed for a great getaway

Clean, private with quite neighbors, Excellent fishing, beautiful sunsets, nice level groomed yard, roomy cabin with comfortable beds, air conditioning, TV and WiFi for when you’ve had enough sun. Nice rural area - short drive to brainerd. I’ve rented cabins all over northern MN and WI And this is best by far. Will definitely return.

Property was perfect for our needs. House was clean, laid out nicely and had the cabin feel we were looking for. Loved the porch with large table great for games/puzzles. We spent most of our time by the water fishing, reading, enjoying a fire and watching the beautiful sunsets. Plenty of fish to be caught just right off the dock. Nice flat grassy area between house and lake would be great for games. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time using VRBO. Our family was hesitant at first, but the property owners were great and we loved the experience. The cabin was a perfect fit and our kids loved the everything the property had to offer. The area was easy to get to, yet had a secluded feeling for privacy. The lake was great for a family and very calm. The fish were so active in the evening - our son actually caught some sunnies just hanging the net over the side of the boat. Would highly recommend and the safari zoo was super fun as well!

I grew up in Brainerd but now live in DC. When I bring my family to Brainerd to visit my extended family we rent a cabin on a lake and we rent a boat too. With that in mind, I look for cabins that have a large eating/game area. This cabin has a nice and comfortable side porch/addition that sat 8-10 people. We also need a flat yard between the home and the lake access. This place was perfect for that. Made it easy for my less mobile family members. The view out to the lake was nice and there was enough room on the dock to tether a 26’ pontoon on. One note is that there is extensive weeds around the dock. I wouldn’t recommend this for swimming at the dock but there is an area on the left side of the property that you could wade up to your knees before you hit the weeds. It’s at the beach area in the listing photo. It was myself and my four sons ranging in ages 12-16. We would recommend the cabin and it was only about 15 minutes from Brainerd.

Really enjoyed our week at this cabin. Large flat backyard was great for yard games. Plenty of bass to be caught right from the dock. Lake was never crowded which was great for tubing & taking the kayaks out. Cabin was clean, well stocked and spacious for our family of six.

Very nice lake home. Clean and well maintained. Little beach was awesome for the toddler. Also, great green space to keep the children from the water.

Amazing time! Everything we were looking for in a family vacation!
