This is a comfortable cabin in a wonderfully secluded location. It sits on a hillside amongst the pines, and guests are greeted every morning by birds singing, turkeys calling, and deer grazing. Kathy and Lyle are exceptional hosts. Whenever I had a question Kathy responded immediately, and she made me feel very welcome. We arrived on a hot day, and the air conditioning was on, and the cabin was comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bed in the main bedroom upstairs was very comfortable. While my husband fished during the day I enjoyed walking with my dog, sitting on the deck, and reading. We had no trouble streaming a movie in the evening. Guests should know that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. The stairway is a bit steep, but it is equipped with excellent railing, and the hosts thoughtfully made sure there are nightlights throughout! Other guests have commented on the road to the property. Take your time, and you will have no trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have already scheduled another one in a few weeks!

Beautiful surroundings, very relaxing. Could have used more cookware. Stairs up to the bedroom where narrow and a little steep, had to make some changes for who we were planning on sleeping up there for that reason. Put made it work.Would stay again!!

Cabin was cozy. It would have been helpful to know that you have a steep staircase because some people may not be able to naviagte-elderly, height-averse. We had a bit of trouble with the winding road to your turnoff as well. But once we arrived, it was a beautiful retreat.

I loved your cabin in the woods. The location is amazing with deer, turkeys and wildlife all around. Lots of room around the cabin for an outdoor bonfire and party. It was a great getaway.

The cabin and setting are stunning. but the host’s behavior made the experience deeply uncomfortable and overshadowed the positives so I cannot recommend staying here. The host monitors the property with multiple visible cameras and showed up twice unannounced.First, he appeared at the door while our 14-year-old granddaughter was home alone, without prior notice. Later, when we tried to leave a day early, he blocked the narrow gravel driveway with his truck, inspected our cars, and aggressively confronted us about paying for extra guest. We were happy to pay for any extra we owed so a phone call would have resolved his concerns. Between constant surveillance, surprise visits, and a hostile confrontation, what should have been a relaxing getaway became stressful. Unless you’re comfortable with zero privacy and an intimidating host, avoid this property.

beautiful cabin well kept clean cozy. everything we needed was provided. very secluded quiet area. lots of wildlife to view and enjoy. the cabin was great. i would recommend staying at this property. the cabin was exactually like showed in pictures.

very private cabin, beautiful country. Wi-Fi didn't work all that well, and the kitchen needs more pots/pans. We struggled cooking meals, but other than that, we made do and had a great time there.

This was our third time staying and once again enjoyed our stay. The cabin is the perfect place to come back to after long days out fishing. Kitchen is well stocked and with the grill out back you can easily make a grilled steak with mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and corn on the cob. In the evening he wood fire place makes for a cozy movie night.

We stayed for a week around Thanksgiving with our family and had a wonderful time. Clean and well appointed Cabin with beautiful views. We would absolutely stay here again.

Saw the most amazing wildlife. Just wow everyday. Saw 4 cougars walking down the driveway. You look down on the river. You are way up… I’m from Indiana. It was a wonderful stay.
