Awesome place! Super cute and clean. Great location right on the water and also not too far from town. Loved that the kayaks were available for guests to use. Our only complaint is that you can hear the guests next door to the point that you can hear exactly what is being said even if someone isn’t talking loudly. We were lucky we had pretty quiet and respectful neighbors, but if there was a group that stayed up late or something it would be a nightmare.
Cute cabin! Looks just like the pictures. My teenage son and I stayed here for 5 days, and it was perfect for us. Clean, well stocked, right on the lake with grill and kayaks. I sat on the back porch daily just enjoying the view. There are also ATV and Jeep rentals in town. No complaints; I will stay here again.
The proximity of the lake to the house made it a very peaceful stay. The property is well managed and other than a few minor hiccups we had not problems. Lake City is a very friendly community and adds to the serenity of this location.
This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in The Little Bear cabin. I grew up in Lake City and enjoy bringing my wife and 2 teenage sons every summer for a couple of weeks. The cabin is fantastic, and the owners are incredibly responsive. We don't spend a lot of time at the cabin as we're always out on the trails. We love to cook out on the gas grill, and on those rainy nights, the kitchen is well outfitted. We love the fire-pit every night. It was too windy to kayak this year, but they have 4 new kayaks to enjoy as well. Beds are super comfortable and the cabin stays nice and cool at night. Million dollar view of the lake and continental divide. Fishing is really good, and you only have to go about 5 steps. I own a small business, and although I am on vacation, having the ability to be in contact with my business is a priority. If you haven't been to Lake City, the Internet is unreliable anywhere you go, BUT, I had the best connection at the cabin that I've ever had anywhere in town. Not flawless like here in a big city in Florida, but certainly doable for a week or so. Other really cool amenities like washer and dryer come in really handy in the mountains. I can't say enough good things about this property, and I'm kind of scared to spread the word too much because I want there to be room for us next summer! Malin Parker
We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this well-kept and comfortable cabin. Also, we appreciated the details about what to do and where to go. The fishing around the area was incredible this time of year. We even caught one from the cabin’s pier. We plan to come again and bring family to rent the bigger part of this duplex. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!
We loved this little cabin, is adorable and views that you can't beat. The owners were awesome and so easy to deal with. Beds super comfortable! We will definitely be back.
