Cabin was clean and comfortable. Location was close to the several places we wanted to visit but out of the way enough to be peaceful.

The home was clean and well laid out. There were more than enough towels for guests. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was silent and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect end to the day, and drinking morning coffee on the deck was a nice way to start the day.

We had a nice stay for a weekend trip with 5 people. The GPS directions are a little off and the road to get there is very steep so it would be better to have a well-equipped vehicle but overall the property is accurately listed and not that far from amenities. The cleanliness level could have been better because there was build up on the shower heads and dirty/rusted pots and pans. I think it is about time they are replaced, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is cozy and it is nice. The location is in the mountains surrounded by trees. There is no clear mountain view but Helton Creek Falls is minutes away which is great. Vacasa was extremely helpful and always available for any needs we had. The reason we rated it a 4 was because one of the neighbors had a large dog that would roam the property off leash. Though he appeared very friendly, he would come to our cabin and poop in the driveway. The first 2 days, my husband stepped on poop at least 3 times. Every time we left the cabin, we hsd to walk carefully not to step in any waste. Lastly, though he appeared as a sweet dog, we have 3 dogs ourselves and every time we would walk, he would emerge from the woods and our dogs were startled and began to bark. Not sure of the other dog's reaction, we would have to pull our dogs away opposite direction to avoid any issues.

We really enjoyed our stay. The interior was very clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the upstairs shower--we could not get it to function. It made the wait for the downstairs bathroom a bit long when the whole family was getting ready. otherwise, it was a great visit.

The check in was easy but then it went down hill from there. To start the porches were very dusty with numerous large bird droppings on the front porch. I ended up hosing it off the best I could. After getting settled we found half eaten cookies in the crevices of the chair and a baby pacifier on the floor in living room at the foot of the chair. There was also fruit loops left just under the bed. Dog found them. There was also a mild sewer smell coming from the downstairs bedroom/bathroom with about ten drain flies in the shower. I killed them and cleaned it out. Unfortunately the mild smell never went away and each morning a new batch of flies appeared in the shower. Both smoke detectors in the rooms were chirping and when I removed the batteries I noticed the batteries were the original brand of the detector and had never been changed. The drive up is steep but nothing near the walk down to the fire pit. The gravel is loose and the stairwell is insufficient. Needs more lighting at dark the drive was pitch black because the motion detector light wasn’t working. After first night found out there was trash left in one of the trash cans that animals got into and scattered. The chairs on the patio and fire pit were covered in dust and need to be cleaned. I was looking forward to this trip but it didn’t meet our standards we decided to leave our final night and stay at a hotel. I called vacasa and shared that we left and our concerns no call back yet!

Gaining access was easy. It was downhill from there. Porch was dirty with a significant amount of bird droppings which I hosed down. Cabin had an odor in downstairs bedroom and drain flys kept appearing in shower. Found a baby pacifier on floor and half eaten cookies in couch crevice. Old fruit loops under couch and beds. The smoke detector kept chirping signaling dead battery and I had to deactivate them. Cabin odor was persistent as if there was something wrong with sewage. We ended up leaving a day early because of it. Lighting was out covering driveway leaving it really dark at night. This wasn’t up to our standards I called and spoke with rep a vacasa who told me someone would call me which had yet to happen.

We are considering buying our own property in this area and really loved the natural beauty. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The expressions on my kids' faces when they roasted marshmallows over the fire pit is a memory I'll cherish forever.

Nice clean and spacious cabin. There are no locking trash cans so wild animals make a mess out of your trash, it will be scattered all over right next to where you have to walk on to porch.

We had a great stay! Cabin has everything you need. The hot tub was already warm when we got there, our girls immediately got in and loved it. The space was perfect for the 4 of us. The communication was probably the best we've ever had with renting. Vacassa was in contact and very informative throughout our stay! One small note, the driveway up is pretty steep. Wasn't a problem for us with our truck, but feel it is something nice to know ahead of time ?

My family of 4 absolutely loved Bigfoot Bluff. It's quite secluded and that was exactly what we were hoping for. It's central to so many good hikes and things to do. We loved the hot tub and fire pit!

The cabin was even better than the description. Extremely quiet and secluded with the National Forest in your back yard. The cabin is situated 15 minutes south of Blairsville and only 30 minutes NW of Helen. Lots of hiking, waterfalls and general outdoor fun just off your steps!

Loved staying in this cabin, it's always nice to just get away from the hustle and bustle and sounds of Atlanta and spend time in nature. We had a small scare, the neighbors down the way popped some fireworks so it's not *complete* solitude but I think that makes it a nice plus for anyone who doesn't wanna be *too* far away.
