Peaceful Bunkhouse cabin with mtn views near Arkansas River attractions & town

Shari was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay! The bed was very comfortable and the bunkhouse was clean and well stocked. We will definitely book again!

The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet.

It was an awesome place. The area was quiet. The bunkhouse itself was very clean, the owners were hospitable and wonderful. There was many amenties included inside our bunkhouse. Highly recommend.

This was a literal slice of heaven! We went to canon city to celebrate my wife and I’s birthdays and it was peaceful and quiet. It was close to shopping, dining and sight seeing. The owner Shari was extremely welcoming and pleasant. The running creek was the cherry on top. We’ll definitely be going back!

This is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Close to everything I attended, perfect for a solo traveler or a couple! Wonderful hosts and very helpful with any questions I had. Highly recommend. Definitely will go back!!!

The cabin had everything we needed and then some. Towels were luxurious, snacks and a gift and welcome note were waiting for us. It was very close to our planned activities. Shari was a gracious host.

The bunkhouse was so cute! So perfect for a weekend getaway. Sheri and Mike were so pleasant, greeted us when we got there and provided so many extra amenities! The property was awesome to walk around with the creek nearby and all the animals. Will definitely recommend and come back in the future!

Wonderful stay

It is a great quiet place to stay. Not far from all the attractions but away from town. Yes it is small but was great for the 2 of us. We felt like we were on the farm . Great for 2 who grew up in the country .

Very quaint, cozy cabin. Has all the necessities for a perfect little getaway. The mountain views are incredible and it is also fun to get to see the livestock right outside your window. We had a very pleasant one night stay for our babymoon. The hosts even left us small gift that was locally made. A very nice touch!

A great place to zone out and relax for a few days. Everything that we (and our dog!) needed was provided and some. Sweet card and gifts awaited us and coffee too. The bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and our neighbors (horses and mules) were very chill.

Very clean and cozy bunkhouse. Nice kitchen and a good bathroom. The perfect place to stay when visiting Canon city and the surrounding area. Close to town, yet far enough away to feel you are out in the quiet country. Hosts were very friendly. We liked the access to the creek area.

This VRBO was spotless and perfectly located near hiking trails, a grocery store, and amazing fishing spots. The amenities were fantastic, making our stay comfortable and easy. The property owners were extremely kind and welcoming, which made all the difference. Highly recommend for a relaxing, adventure-filled getaway!

It was like home.... peaceful and lovely

We had an amazing time at the Bunkhouse. The property is quiet and tranquil. It was fun to see the horses and they have a pretty great view! Checking in was super easy and Shari was very welcoming. We had a lazy weekend anniversary trip and she added some wonderful personal touches based on our messages back and forth. Lots of activities to do around Cañon City - though we didn't partake in much. We walked around a bit and went to the golf course for a leisure round of 9 - beautiful course too! You can go fishing, hiking, biking, etc. Plus the Royal Gorge is right there. We had everything we needed in the Bunkhouse, everything was easy to understand, and it was quite cozy! Checking out was just as easy as checking in. Hoping we can come back at some point!

The cabin was beautiful as well as the property. I really wish we could have stayed longer. It was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were awesome too.

Only minutes away from the city this cozy bunkhouse provides a serene and peaceful place to enjoy the Colorado air and Mountain View. The hosts have created a great getaway and are very welcoming. They provide great communication and a genuine friendliness.

Cabin was very clean and in an excellent location. It was very relaxing with no noise and close enough to town to where if we forgot something everything was a quick drive away or even a nice walk away plus there were 2 surprises when we arrived. We plan on making a return trip very soon.

We loved our stay and the host was wonderful. We had a little snag but the host more than made up for it. The bunkhouse was clean and the setting, although in the host’s back yard, was very peaceful. So close to everything we wanted to do. It is small so keep that in mind if you plan on booking.

We only stayed for a night but it was perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. Shari was so kind and thoughtful in making our short anniversary getaway so special and memorable, we can't wait to book a longer stay in the future! An absolutely beautiful property!
