The cabin was just as it is listed and the host was quick to respond to our questions and issues. The bed was very comfortable. We could see why they suggested that you arrive before dark. We arrived after dark and the road was a little scary because it is narrow and not well lit. Other than that, it was great.

Host was very welcoming

Our whole experience was awesome listening to the sounds of nature and the river flowing was so peaceful. The cabin itself was great and beautiful. Short distant to Maggie valley gift shops and short trip to cherokee. Enjoyed every bit of our vacation and will be booking again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It snowed two days and was beautiful. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs by the fireplace. We plan to go back next year.

If you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing cabin to stay in that has easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Waynesville, this place is perfect. The hot tub, fireplace, wrap-around deck and outdoor sitting area are all great places to sit and unwind. If you want to stay at a place that has daily maid service, room service, and employees to assist your needs, this is not it. However, if you are self-sufficient and want a place to relax and unwind, this place definitely fits the bill. I will be returning!

Yes to all Clean and everything we needed. We have stayed in a lot of cabins in the area and never one that we wanted to come back to. We will be back next year. Thanks Alot for a beautiful week!

It was a beautiful cabin and just as described. If I could give it more than 5 stars I surely would. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable beds, everything you needed for your stay, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to Maggie Valley and lots of other mountain towns. Had a great time and will definitely stay there again if back in the area.

It was a very clean, beautiful, & peaceful log cabin. Also, it was well stocked with essentials. We really enjoyed our stay!

This cabin in the woods at 4000 ft is a delight. It is furnished very tastefully in mountain style, and has every appliance and cooking utensil that you can imagine. It was immaculate when we arrived, and the access directions were excellent. Bed was comfy and LR furniture was really nice, with two recliners so you can put your feet up. We lit up the fireplace the second evening and it was very nice. We stayed three nights and enjoyed them all. Joey’s Pancake House at the bottom of the mountain is a great place to eat. Two things to be aware of …. The drive is very steep - we have an AWD Pilot and it went up without problem but it is daunting to look at. And (because of potential bears I assume) trash has to leave with you. The trash dump is not open every day so read the instructions on the fridge when you first arrive. And, no, we did not see any bears, or even evidence of bears, but I think they were in the vicinity. We were a little nervous walking our pup after dark but the security lights on the cabin light outdoors up very well.

This cabin was amazing…Clean and had everything we needed. They even supplied wood for the fireplace which we enjoyed using often. Cozy. Had games to play with our kids. Recliner chairs in the living room are awesome. May need to get those for our house!!!! There is not much to do in Maggie Valley but we weren’t planning on doing much. Had a relaxing weekend!

The property is as described. Views are amazing. Property is cozy and clean. Property has everything you need. I would definitely rent again.

Love this beautiful cozy cabin! We got a lot of snow which was so beautiful. Make sure you bring everything you need in case you get snowed in. Even with 4 wheel drive getting up to the cabin can be challenging with the snow and ice. It’s very steep. The wood burning fireplace is one of our favorites things and it’s furnished with wood! Plus the well equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in! Note that this time of the year many places are closed for the season but there are many places still open. Publix and Walmart are pretty close by too. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure! Can’t find anything negative about this cabin!

We loved it here beautiful and peaceful just what we needed we spent Christmas there and would do it again. The only downside is we left one Christmas gift I gave my husband it would cost us 50 to get it back

Beautiful property and cabin. Excellent area and location to Maggie valley and Bryson city and the casino. So many amazing waterfalls and trails to explore. Cherokee national Forest close and the views are absolutely spectacular. Plenty of food choices around and grocery stores near. The house was very inviting and comfortable. Very clean inside and out with a great jacuzzi that I as hot and super well maintained. Everything you could need for a week long stay in the kitchen and bathrooms. Linens were clean and high quality. Very private and quiet location 5 stars! Easy check in and checkout.. definitely will be staying here again.

We came out here for my birthday as a nice, quiet getaway with my wife and dog. The cabin was beautiful and the mountain and nature walk areas were everything we could have imagined. We had Thanksgiving dinner at J Arthur’s down the road and enjoyed a great breakfast the next day at Joey’s Pancake House. The people of Maggie Valley were welcoming and nice. Would definitely come back again!

Beautiful cabin tucked into the side of the mountain, no neighbors visable. It was just what the doctor ordered! Peaceful, remote but close to dining, shopping and thngs to do. It was comfortable and well stocked with what you need during your stay. There was plenty of firewood, a hot tub, rockers, a porch swing. WONDERFUL. The beds need new matresses, but aside from that....great! o

Driveway grade steep, parking poor. Interior lighting poor, not enough light to read. Beds need new pillows with protective covers. Kitchen drawers & cabinets need cleaning (grease, hair) & sorting (too many multiples). Kitchen table chairs very uncomfortable. Sofa cushion does stay in place. Only 2 (uncomfortable ) rockers for outside deck seating. Closets full of “stuff” so limited use for clothes/luggage.

Is better than anything you would have imagined. We cried when we left and honestly talked about moving here! The people are super sweet as well and make you feel comfortable! No matter the weather, this cabin doesn’t disappoint especially the view.
