Panoramic Views - Dog Friendly - Close to Breckenridge

We had a wonderful stay! Nice and clean, and each group had their own room; two bathrooms. The primary bedroom and bathroom were terrific. There was plenty of room in the living room and the kitchen which was well stocked with cookware and staples. The views were gorgeous! Great communication and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and nice stargazing, too. Really a wonderful place to stay, thanks!

We absolutely loved this place, from the moment we arrived, it felt like home, the place had absolutely everything we could possibly need. The space is thoughtfully arranged, and incredibly comfortable, the kind of comfort that makes you settle in instantly and the views each morning were amazing!We lost power one night and thanks to the lantern and board games that we found, my family made the best of it.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay that’s both convenient and genuinely comfortable. It’s the kind of spot you look forward to returning to. Short distance from Breck and other beautiful spots! We are definitely going back :)

We had a great weekend getaway! The property is secluded and it was super comfy for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Marshea was very responsive to our questions. It snowed about a foot during our visit. Because of the tucked away location, the roads were not plowed until the day after the storm. A dependable AWD is a must during the winter season as there are windy, steep roads to the house. We enjoyed our time here and will be back again.

This property is a perfect getaway! The owners are super to work with, and they have thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need while there! We loved it and would definitely recommend it! We struggled some with the altitude, but other than that, loved the location and attention to detail!

Everything was nice. I feel the price was a bit high for what you get, but no complaints. Remember to turn the water on downstairs.

The property is in a secluded area but it's easily accessible. The reservoir is within a short walk and we saw more animals and birds than people, which is a plus for us! The lodge was clean and very well appointed. Although it was just the two of us and our pup, we could have easily accommodated many more comfortably. The host provided great instructions on facets of the lodge as well as contact information in the event something went wrong (which did not). I'd happily stay here again a s will share with family and friends as a place to find relaxation just a short drive from both Breck and Fairplay.

This home is in a beautiful setting overlooking a valley near Breckenridge and Alma. For our needs, the property location was an ideal balance of isolation and accessibility-- it's not in the middle of busy Breckenridge, but it's not too far from shops, restaurants, breweries, and bakeries. During our summer stay, it took about 10 minutes to travel to Alma (which has a few basic shops, cafes, and a bakery), and 20 minutes to get into Breckenridge. Our kids appreciated all the board games, puzzles, and toys that were available to keep them occupied during their down time. There are countless hiking opportunities in the area. The owner was attentive and communicated clearly with us before and after our arrival. The hot tub and grill were also popular features during our week-long stay. We hope to return again next summer!

Well-named as the Peaceful Valley Lodge with quiet views of stunning alpine valleys stretching out. Breck is nearby (20 min) though we found ourselves in Frisco & Dillon (45 minutes) more often. On site has all the amenities on site you'd expect in a mountain home promising peace and quiet. A well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, two different living room areas in case the group sprawls, games, books and DVD movies and a hot tub and a propane grill. The view from the deck is amazing, with direct views of Mt Lincoln and Mt Bross, and up-the-valley views up Wheeler Trail. It took a few days to acclimate to sleeping at such high altitude, even for a family from Denver, so consider bringing your favorite sleep aids. This is a 5-star VRBO location for a family, perfectly set up for multi-generational family or either adult children or kids.Note: AT&T cell signal didn't reach the house, but did reach just down the road. We just walked 100 yards down the driveway to make calls or send/receive texts, which wasn't a problem in the summer. Satellite internet is reliable but slow. But we were here to unplug anyhow.

This is an absolutely beautiful property! Views were breathtaking. Big enough for everyone to have their space but still felt cozy. We had an amazing time and will most definitely stay here again!

This was my Christmas present to my two teenage sons, since they did not need more stuff. Being from Texas, we do not get to see snow very often. We were NOT disappointed. The views were incredible, the snow was pure white and fluffy, and the accommodations were perfection. It was a great time to relax and make memories!

We absolutely loved the location of this property! On our way to the property, we stopped in Breckenridge to eat lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the mountain town. From there we headed to the lodge where check in was very easy. I was a little concerned about the roads and driveway from the description, but it was all very easy with our AWD vehicle. The house is cozy and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out, and to gather for eating and playing games at the table. It would have been nice to have a little more seating in the upstairs family room by the stove while enjoying the views, but truly not a big deal. We loved how the house is very private and you can really enjoy the quiet of nature. We did some hiking and snowshoeing by Magnolia Mill just down the road. It was great to come back to the hot tub, make a meal in the kitchen, and just relax. We would definitely go back - it must be absolutely lovely in the summer, too!

Five stars across the board. Lovely location. Lovely home. Amazing views and the hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen was functional to make a special birthday dinner. My kids LOVED the Christmas decorations. Close enough to FairPlay to be convenient but far enough out that we felt secluded and unplugged. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Peaceful Valley Lodge. The views were amazing, and the cabin was spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub was a treat on chilly evenings. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed many meals there. We would definitely stay here again. The location is great and very convenient to Breck.

Marshea is an attentive hostess with a clean and comfortable home that is well stocked. She responded to messages and questions fairly quickly and was quick to address any concerns The house is about a 20 minute drive from Breckenridge, so about the furthest limit we were willing to drive. We loved seeing the deer, birds and even a fox while we were there. We also loved the sounds of the stream nearby. Nice location, but gravel roads with a fairly steep driveway. The house could use some minor upgrades. The air hockey table wouldnt stay on so we couldn't play. The sheets on the master bed were a little worn and nubby. Some of the bath towels smelled of mildew. A drawer front was missing in the kitchen. The grass around the house was knee high and overgrown so it brushed against you on the first stairs entering the house. All were minor things in a otherwise lovely home, but woth mentioning.

We stayed a month to get out of the Texas heat! It is secluded and so quiet and pieceful. Nights are cool and you could open the window and let the coolness in. The cabin is unbelievably stocked with EVERYTHING you need. The beds are comfortable and the showers are delightful. The location is close to Alma, Fairplay znd Breckenridge. Several day trips to Royal Gorge. Cripple Creek and Leadville. There is fishing near by and fishing poles in the closet. The host was delightful and kept us up to date on everything. Stunning location, the views were incredible. We appreciate any place that lets us bring our most important family member, our fur baby. Beds were comfy and the hot tub was nice and hot. The host was very nice and fast to respond during a quick power outage due to rain. There are a lot of stairs, which could be an issue for some, but we had no problem. Great place to stay.
