Inspired by our Engagement in Norway, we wanted to recreate this special memory. We fell in love with the Scandinavian Culture and their approach to life… and now our memories will live on forever through this cabin.

Inspired by a life-changing trip to Norway — where we fell in love with the culture, the pace of life, and each other (we got engaged there!) — this ChAlet brings a dreamy blend of romance, design, and nature to North Carolina.

Only 20 minuter from Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure but tucked away in the treetops, the ChAlet is perfect for disconnecting from the noise and reconnecting with what matters most. We are here for you! As fellow travelers we know how important it is to be educated on the area, as well as have local recommendations. Please don`t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions before your arrival, we are very quick to respond and will do our best to answer any questions you may have! Upon your arrival, a Welcome Book will await you that lists out our favorite restaurants, bars, cafes, and outdoor activities, as well as educational information about the surrounding areas.

Security: Property has one security camera at the front entrance of the home to ensure guest`s safety. Cameras are only accessed in case of emergency.

Cleanliness: Health, safety and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process following each check-out.

Dogs: We have dogs of our own and can’t imagine visiting the mountains without them. However, please treat this as your home. Guests will be responsible for any damages caused by their dogs.

First Aid: A first aid kit is located under the kitchen sink.

Children: If you’re planning to bring your little ones, please make yourself aware of the lofted bedroom with a steep staircase to the main living room. By requesting to book, you are agreeing to full responsibility and liability for all children present during your stay and agree that they will be monitored by a responsible adult at all times.

Safety: Our property offers numerous activities that make the experience what it is. In this regard, guests must act responsible when using the amenities to ensure safety at all times:

Hot tub: Our hot tub sits on top of our +10ft deck and therefore guests need to be responsible during use. To ensure safety, we ask that guests do not sit on the hot tub ledge.

*By booking, guests take full responsibility and liability when enjoying these outdoor amenities.
Dogs- we do allow dogs but they must be 30 pounds or less and watched closely. Dogs cannot be left in rooms alone with doors shut. Any damage cause by a dog will be a fee.
