Stayed Jun 29, 2025We booked a Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom Cabin as what was shown on Vrbo and drove 170 kms to get there. When we walked in, the attached photos showed what we saw. Then, the owner came saying that it was nothing and they knew how to handle this. The solution they proposed was for them to take 15 minutes to clean the mess up. Yes, it might be sufficient to remove all the trash and construction equipment off the floor. What about the uncovered furniture and kitchen cabinets that were covered with dust? My child is allergic to dust so we had to turn around and drive another 170 kms to go back home. We did get the refund, but what about driving back and forth for nothing and our ruined long weekend plan? Zero compensation from the owner. Quite opposite, the owner accused us of having a bad attitude, since we didn't get our expectation right for staying at a cabin. We book cabins every summer and this is the first time we encountered such a ridiculous experience.

Stayed Feb 15, 2023Great location. We drove 15 minutes to Lindsay where we had our dinner. The 2nd day we drove 15 minutes to Bobcaygeon where we had breakfast. Both are great town with great restaurants. We set up a lovely fire at night We will come back in summer!
