We really enjoyed our getaway at the Hippie Hut. We knew it would be tiny but our host thought of special and unique ways to make the space look big and function for what is needed. The decor was fabulous and if it wasn't so hot outside, we would've spent the entire evening in the cozy backyard area.

Perfect homosassa stay. The tiny house and firepit are all fenced in together. The hut itself was actually pretty spacious with 2 places to sleep. We had that winter freeze this weekend and kuddos to whoever did the insulation! We stayed warm! The host was so quick to answer all our questions. Pics do not give it justice for all the local art inside.The whole trip was perfect. We were in town to do crystal river and whether or not youre traveling with pets, Id recommend this adorable spot!

This place is adorable! Communication with the host was good. Great little fenced yard. I slept in the upper bed and it was very comfortable. Microwave & fridge were nice to have. Host provided fantastic suggestions for hikes & eats. If you’re looking for a fun, unique, comfortable place close to Homosassa/Crystal Springs, this is a GREAT option!Here are my critiques (most out of the control of the hosts, but something for others to know before booking) the neighborhood itself isn’t the best. We walked our dog but no sidewalks. Feral cats all over and lots of barking dogs. The water is well water and smells REALLY bad. We bought drinking water. If you’re going to cook food, you’ll need to have your own dishes, etc. The keurig coffee maker didn’t really work best to plan for coffee elsewhere.

I request check in information/codes three times and received no response. The owner essentially ghosted me. I spent over two hours with VRBO representatives trying to resolve this. They tried two times to contact the owner to no avail. At the last minute we were forced to scramble for a place to stay. The lack of response was absolutely unacceptable. O

Hippie Hut was everything I had hoped for. It was cozy and perfect for the two of us. I loved how comfy all the pillows were. Alyssa was always quick to respond to any questions and made us feel welcome. Sude note, I loved the friendly

Great place. She thought of everyrhing. Cozy hut! All the toys you could ever want. Coloring books, nestalgic board games and history of toys was cute. Private yard to hang out and grill was awesome. Hammock, view of the sky was steller! Amazing firepit to sit by under the stars was nice. Close to the Chaz river, kayaking was beautiful. Will definitely be vack!

Description matched our expectations. Night was a little on the cold side, turned heater up and started to feel more comfortable. We had a quick stay, went to see the manatees before going on our family vacation.

Not what I was expecting, but all in all… everything at the hippy hut was a very relaxing stay. Whole lot of things to do in the area to keep you busy or just enjoy the outdoors by the grill and fireplace. Alyssa is an amazing host… very informational and ready to answer any questions you may have during your stay.

Did not stay. Room was cold enough to hang meat and neither of the tiny heaters I tried worked. Husband promised a refund, and the host (wife) confirmed. I am waiting on the refund. I can’t comment on anything else, since we didn’t stay.

My wife and I stayed there when we had an excursion to swim with manatees. It was super cute and perfext for two people! So much attention to every little detail in a small space! About 15 minutes away from pretty much anything you want to do in Homosassa or Crystal River. Super cute private outdoor slace as well!

My hubby, son and I rented the hut for a week and we had everything we needed. It’s small, but super cozy and fun! The beds are comfortable and the decor is fantastic! Thank you for a great week in Homosassa!

We really enjoyed our short stay. It was surprisingly cool inside the hut which was my concern. The bathroom was a little small but my husband and I are both 6' 1 and 5' 11 ... I think it would be cool if there was an outdoor shower (covered of course!) Very cute place and was perfect for our short river trip.

We had a amazing time staying here. My son really enjoyed all of the cool little details to the hut. We enjoyed BBQ on the pit and playing a good uno game outside on the patio furniture. Took a good nap on the hammock. We Really enjoyed the private yard as well and absolutely adored the outside shower! No complaints has everything you need or forgot to pack for your stay! AC was very chilled and beds super comfy!
