Everything was excellent about our stay! Beautiful clean property! We wanted to be close to the North Entrance and we were 5 minutes away. We enjoyed seeing the horses everyday as well! Well done to the owners! We thank you!!!

This is a beautiful cabin!!! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting on porch overlooking mountains and having Elk walk in front of cabin. We also went off season so the only entrance open to Yellowstone Park was North Entrance. This cabin is ideal for driving to that entrance. There wasn’t a lot of restaurants open due to off season but there was a cafe that was amazing!! We definitely will tell other people about this rental and we will be going back!!

This was absolutely one of the best places we have stayed in. So comfortable and the host was very welcoming. The cabin had so many “extras for the best possible experience. The cleanliness of the cabin was perfect as for the location. Just minutes from the entrance to the park. Every morning we enjoyed coffee while watching the wildlife across the road but often the elk was in the front yard. Trust me when I say, don’t look any further. This is perfect.

We had 4 horses right outside our back door and a large window to view them from!!! They were so friendly and fun to watch. The owners of the horses and property were so helpful with the cute town of Gardiner and Yellowstone! They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and fun. We met them around a campfire one night and enjoyed talking to them! The Sage Cabin was spacious and quite comfortable! It was just a 5 minute drive to the entrance to Yellowstone. We went daily with our little dog and had an incredible time, seeing all of the animals, the mud pots, the geysers including Old Faithful, Yellowstone Grand Canyon, the waterfalls, and the other beautiful scenery. It was always good to go back to our cabin at the end of the day. It was on several beautiful acres! Now we have special memories of Gardiner, Yellowstone, and the Sage Cabin!!!

Our family of five enjoyed our time at Sage Cabin as a base camp for our adventures in Yellowstone. The location could not have been better for the park (much less busy than the west entrance) and other outside activities including white water rafting and horseback riding. All were just a short drive away! The cabin fit our family really well with a nice sized master bedroom, cozy second bedroom, and then a murphy bed and roll-away for my daughters who slept in the living room. The beds were very comfortable and well maintained. The laundry is in the bathroom, which proved a little tricky but we managed. The owners had everything needed to run a few loads, which was nice, and the appliances were new. The cabin is on a nice property in the foothills of the Gallatin Mountain range with a few other properties as well, though we never felt crowded. It is proximate to the street leading into Gardiner and YNP which had more noise than we would have liked, but it was worth it for proximity! And of course, our kids loved playing with the horses who would come to greet them each morning and gladly eat the grass they would feed them. The owners were gracious and accommodating for the few requests we had and even invited us for a drink one evening. It was great to hear about the history of the area, animal migration patterns, and all things Montana. We would definitely recommend a stay at Sage Cabin.

This is a super nice place. Very comfy beds. The central house fan sucks in cold air at night (during the summer) to keep the cabin cool the next day. Excellent location just outside Gardiner, very near Yellowstone. The owners really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable!

Sage Cabin is in an ideal location to explore and immerse yourself in Yellowstone. It's an easy 10 minute drive to the North park entrance. There was wildlife everywhere, some easily viewed from the front porch! The cabin is well appointed and was perfect for my elderly parents, husband, and I. The shower seat, grab bars, etc. helped ensure a safe and anxiety-free trip. Shawn (host) was so sweet, responsive, and helpful. There were so many thought things provided like maps, bear spray (!), games, laundry supplies, etc. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thanks for helping make our Yellowstone dream come true!
