It was very enjoyable
We went for a short trip with just my wife and I. Loved the little cabin. If you're brining your boat you should know that parking is very limited. It was all i could do to get my full size truck and boat diaganol in the space enough to be out of the road. You could back in, unhook, and park beside your boat but while unhooking and hooking up your vehicle would be in the road on a blind hill. Yes their is a boat ramp very close but the road in and out is ROUGH. I wouldn't even attempt it without a 4x4. If you are brining a boat i would recommend renting a short term slip at hurricane just up the road. Other than that everything was fantastic. Very quite and peaceful even though their are houses right next to each other. The only other complaint would be that theirs no outdoor fire pit. It has a beautiful porch area out back that is quite large. Even a gas fire pit would be a wonderful addition.
