Nelson Cozy Cabin: Mountain Getaway 20 mins to WTG

Perfect for our family of 4. Property was nicely off the road and very quiet. Home appeared recently redone with nice fixtures and decor - Very, very clean and beds nice and comfy. Nice gas fireplace; would've liked couch and chairs to be a bit more comfortable for relaxing after busy day and watching TV. Only problem was unlocking door on our arrival, but owners quick to respond to call/text and resolve the issue. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, pet friendly, great location and gracious host

This house was perfect for our party of 5 (plus one furry friend). The open floor plan was perfect for hanging out, the house was very clean, and the outdoor space was great for enjoying the afternoon sun. We loved the proximity to the wineries, breweries, and hiking. While the house is just off of 151, there was no traffic noise and the area is quiet and secluded. We have rented from Jamie and her team for several years and this was our favorite place so far!

This was our first visit to Nelson Cozy Cabin and it won’t be our last! The property owners were super responsive and helpful with any of our questions, the home was immaculately clean, it was pet friendly, and it had absolutely everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Best of all, it was centrally located to many local tourist attractions. We did our Nelson and greater Charlottesville area wineries and it was a perfect distance. We will be back! Thank you again!

The Cozy Cabin was a great place to stay. The house was clean, and cozy. We loved the firepit and enjoyed the slow mornings looking out at the mountains out front. The view was better than we anticipated! The cabin was great as we were traveling with kids, everyone felt comfortable. We enjoyed the slower pace, and put together some puzzles and played some games that were provided at the cabin. Overall this was a fantastic place for our family to say and enjoy, and we'd love to stay here again.

I really love this area. It's close to a lot of awesome food and drinks but so quiet. The house itself it clean and super well appointed. Really great place.

Nelson Cozy Cabin was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for my husband and I and our dog and another couple. It was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The outdoor area with a fire pit was nice to come back to after being out and about exploring the area. Loved the decor of the place and had very comfortable beds and linens. Bed pillows could be updated, but that’s on us for not bringing our own (we are picky about our pillows).overall would highly recommend this spot and hope to return!!

Beautiful setting, close to breweries and nice touches everywhere

The cabin was immaculate! Beautifully decorated, so cozy and clean, great location. Loved all the details with check-in and the recommendations for local points of interest. Our friends with us commented on how we did an excellent job picking out this cabin. Would love to return!
