This is a very nice, cozy and clean place. Carra even let us know the house was ready and could arrive earlier if needed. It’s located in a really convenient spot, it ended up snowing during our stay mid-March and didn’t have any trouble getting into or out of the place with front wheel drive. We would stay here again and Carra was very informative and responded quickly. Love the mountains!!

The place was beautiful but surprised there were no paper towels or shampoo! Something we need to know beforehand! Also a precious item was left behind that we wanted returned but that didn’t happen.

Would stay here again. The cabin look as if it had been remodeled in the last year or so. Very quiet and comfortable.

It was perfect for our family. My sister has some mobility issues and the handicap accessories were great. The drive to the cabin was extremely easy and then the access into house was great - no steps. The kitchen was fully equipped and my niece was able to prepare some wonderful breakfasts. We loved the cleanliness of the cabin. We would definably book it again. We all decided that if and when we come again, we would not book our schedule so tight. The cabin felt like home and the host was easy to communicate with. Loved the back deck for sitting and reading. Didn't get the opportunity to grill out but there was a nice gas grill. Quite neighborhood with plenty of places for walking. Plenty of room inside for relaxing, cooking and eating. Would stay here again if in the area. Thanks for sharing your place.

The cabin provides a perfect place for a quiet get away, surrounded by nature. It is clean, comfortable, and has wifi. All the kitchen amenities you would need if you choose to cook with a outdoor patio to sit and relax.

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed to make it a home away from home and the bed was very comfortable! Carra and her husband were very quick to respond to messages and she provided both of their phone numbers in case we needed anything. We will definitely stay again.It was easy to fine, clean and peaceful.

As we expected everything was perfect. We have stayed multiple times at this great cabin and have never been disappointed. The owners are very responsive, the cabin is clean, the area is great for exploring and the back deck is a haven for those that need a break.

Loved the cabin! It was very clean and cute as a button…it was perfect for my husband and myself. A small microwave would have been a nice bonus for extra hot coffee on those cool nights.

The Deck and Den was exactly what we were looking for while visiting North Carolina! The house is surrounded by trees making you feel away from the world!

The cabin was easy to find and the road was in good shape. The shower has strong water pressure which is not always the case. The kitchen is well stocked. We even used some of the maple syrup when we wanted to make French toast!

Cabin was ready well before check in time and owner notified us in advance. Also let us know we could stay longer on check out day if needed. Cabin was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Thanks for a nice stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s close to Tweetsie & all the attractions around Boone. It's very clean and Carra was very fast to respond to any questions i had. We will definitely be staying there again

This is a wonderful cabin. Very clean, well stocked, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was perfect! Cozy, quiet and clean. It is a short drive to a grocery store. We were able to spend the day exploring Blowing Rock and come back to the cabin to relax by the fireplace in the evening. We definitely plan on staying here again.

It was a perfect little weekend getaway

This may be one of my favorite places that I’ve ever stayed because the location is perfect for people who want to relax. It’s in a gated neighborhood but you aren’t close enough to neighbors to even notice that they’re there. The kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking and the beds are very comfortable. There’s a nice view of the mountains from the back deck, which is also a great place to hang out in the afternoons and watch the deer roaming through the woods. It is close to lots of hiking and natural areas, like Mt Jefferson and the New River. It’s also reasonably close to Boone if you want something a little busier for an evening. There are some great local restaurants and taprooms in the area and if you love a fantastic burger, check out Black Jack’s Pub and Grill. I definitely want to stay here again.

Second time staying there...owners are awesome and the cabin is very nice...will more than likely rent it again.

Great location, easy to find

We had a great weekend retreat at Carra's place in Fleetwood. It's a great location for exploring the entire High Country area - a short drive to everywhere you want to go. The place was super clean, everything was in good shape and as advertised. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bedroom was very comfortable. We had a temporary issue with the TV, but Carra was super responsive and helped us get things right. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the fireplace. Though it turned on and off flawlessly, it didn't put out a whole lot of light or heat, which was unfortunate on such a cold weekend. Obviously that would not be an issue in the summer, and we both thought the cabin would be a nice retreat in the summer months.

House was very clean and bigger than the pictures look. Owners were easy to work with and I would def stay again.

We have been several times on Western NC and I can say this place is absolutely amazing if you are looking for an scape from all the stressful things. It has the necessary to stay comfortable, relax and cozy. They have some game for the little ones and everything you need to feel like “The house in the mountains that you want to have”.You guys will really love this place..

Beautiful , clean and spacious property located within a private community. It has great views of the woods from the deck. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and very quick to respond! They also offered us for a late check-out in case we needed it . I highly recommend this property!!

A great way to spend an stress-free Christmas. We saw deer every day looking out the kitchen window. The place was clean and welcoming. Gas fireplace was nice. I wasn’t looking forward to tending a fire in the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location gave you the feel as if you were really out in the wilderness, but in reality maybe 15 minutes from civilization. Great back deck to enjoy with a beverage of your choice and a good book. Definitely very relaxing for my me and my wife.

Unfortunately Hurrican Helene changed our plans and we had to Cancel till WNC recovers as well as our town Yankeetown Fl where over 200 homes were flooded by storm surge. Cara was so helpful and understanding we will see you next year.

Easy to feel at home in this cozy cabin. Great location between West Jefferson and Boone. Problems with TV connection but probably because of recent hurricane damage. Could not get gas logs to work but owner indicated they would get looked at. Would definitely return.

My daughter and I needed a place to stay for a wedding. We wanted to spend a few days seeing the sights and still be near tbe venue. The venue was about 20 minutes way and the cabin was about 20 minutes to downtown Boone. It was a great location. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. You can watch the deer and squirrels from the kitchen window. I enjoyed my coffee on the back porch. The neighborhood is beautiful. The roads are in good condition. The host was kind enough to leave the porch light on for us since we were arriving after dark.

Great location with trees all around. Gated community, Several great homes but most are hidden by trees. A LOT of deer roam freely. 20 minutes from shopping.
