Beautiful property, the view from the back porch is worth way more than the price to stay here!

We had a very attentice host, he made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.I stayed with my family and we all enjoyed it. The cabin has a beautiful view and there was a trail nearby leading down to a creek. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy on the cold nights. All we needed was a longer stay at the cabin.

The property was amazing! First, the pictures did not do it justice. Everything was beautiful beyond our expectations! It was very clean and weĺl equipped to say the least. It sits at the end of the road and is very private. The views from the deck were heavenly from all angles and the sound of the creek so tranquil! We will definitely be back! The only thing that would make it any more amazing would have been a hot tub on the deck!

Just wow. This cabin is incredible. Every room takes full advantage of the view which is behind spectacular. Extra blankets are provided, Roku tv for a little family movie night, the fireplace was easy to use with clear instructions, comfortable beds and bedding, and although we didn’t use it because of wind and the risk of fire spread the fire pit had a perfect set up. The large deck was awesome to spend the night watching the sunset and then stargazing. We didn’t want to leave. The drive is long and bumpy but manageable as long as you’re comfortable with mountain roads. The only downside to being up so high in the mountains was water pressure in the showers but everything else was awesome. Well prepped kitchen too with plenty of cookware and ways to prepare your meals. Really truly fantastic family cabin space. I hope we can go back soon!

Overall, Eagle Ridge Maggie Valley was a great place to stay. The house is nice and comfortable. The views from the deck are amazing. If clear, star gazing is fantastic. There’s a fire pit on the deck, which was a little worrisome with the variable winds and embers potentially landing on the wooden deck. I’d suggest bringing some dry wood as the wood provided was damp and very smoky while burning. The house was clean upon arrival but we were inundated by swarms of ladybugs, some stink bugs, and some yellow jackets that made their way into the house. Not much the host can do about that- just goes with the territory. Just be aware you might need to vacuum up some bugs. The vacuum provided was full of dirt and debris and sort of smelled musty upon use. But, it got the job done. My son and I hiked down to one of the nearby creeks. A bit slippery with wet leaf fall, so be careful. Down is always easier, hiking back up is pretty exhausting unless you’re are a fit 19 year old like my son! Ha! There is one other residence nearby but nobody occupied that house during our stay, so it was very quiet. The other house seems well taken care of. It would have been impossible to reach the house without a 4 wheel drive vehicle had the road been snowy or more wet. Wet leaves and mud made part of the trip scary. It rained the last night and we had difficulty making it out with a front wheel drive vehicle. Not a deal breaker, just be prepared for white knuckles. ?

As others have noted, the drive up to the cabin is a bit daunting. However, it is worth the trip! The cabin is wonderful (we had 7 adults) and the view is amazing. Andy was absolutely wonderful to work with! It was clean except for several dead ants...and those are certainly preferable to live ants. I'd love to come back with my family. I think the space is begging for a hot tub...hope that is in the plan!
