This place is the perfect getaway and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfy and enjoyable as possible. The cabin and the views are beautiful! We will be booking again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as described, cozy, and had an incredible view. The host provided a lot of information before check in which was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

The cabin was perfect. The view while sitting on the deck chatting with friends was just as amazing as it looks in the photos. Quick and easy travel to Black Mountain and Asheville. This trip was a do-over from a trip planned for the same time last year when Hurricane Helene did such horrific damage. Contact was initiated by the cabin owner in 2024 asking if I would like to cancel my reservation because although their cabin had no damage, so much of the surrounding area was devastated. I certainly didn't expect the cabin owner to reach out to me about canceling the reservation and refunding my fees, but that's exactly what happened. Hence when we rescheduled our trip, I immediately booked the same cabin. As an aside, I know from my 2024 plans, that although their cabin wasn't damaged, surrounding neighbors were in need and they did all they could to help others in the area post Helene. Wonderful cabin! Wonderful cabin owners!

Absolutely beautiful views from the cabin! The home was immaculate and beautiful decor. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grilling on the nice grill provided. Host were so wonderful with communication and response time. Definitely will stay here again. So peaceful and quiet. it is a drive up the mountain but it was a beautiful drive we loved every minute of our stay. Thank You to our hosts.

A spotless, spacious, spectacular home literally in the clouds. I and every one of my guests who stayed there were very impressed. This property is on our shortlist of places that we have to visit in the future. In addition to this the check-in and check-out process was a breeze and the owners were always responsive when we had a question or concern. And the cherry on top was seeing a family of black bears passing through looking for their next meal. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful, peaceful place

A truly beautiful cabin with a fantastic view! The house was super clean and the check-in and checkout process was very easy! We spent a ton of time on the porch just enjoying the view and there were several areas to do that comfortably. Would definitely be back next visit!

We came up for the Bigfoot festival in Marion. This house was absolutely awesome! We were blown away when we came in and saw the property in the view. Then we walked inside. Just absolutely beautiful. We came up with another couple and we each had our own space. Everything we needed for dinner was there. We spent as much time sitting on the back deck, staring at the view! No issues whatsoever. We had such a relaxing stay and I would recommend this property to anyone!

My friends and I weathered tropical storm Helene from Miller High Life. Though we lost power, water and cell service, we felt as safe as possible in their sturdy home. Thank goodness for battery operated lanterns and helpful neighbors.

Old friends since 1st grade. We have a long and wonderful friendship and go somewhere every year. We loved NC and the beautiful mountains. The cabin was perfect for us. We cooked and sat on the deck and had lots of laughs. Wild turkeys and deer were all around.

Th cabin was nothing short of spectacular. The log cabin boasts breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. Each bedroom is private with its own bathroom, and the fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. The outdoor spaces, including the sundeck and balcony, were perfect for soaking in the natural beauty. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene mountain getaway.

Property views are even prettier than pictures, annd house is wonderful inside and out. Owners were great to communicate with before and during stay. Enjoyed Hillman brewery in Old Fort after day on boat rental at Lake Lure.
