Murphy Cabin w/ Views < 1 Mi to Hiwassee Lake!

Loved the cabin. It was very cozy and inviting. We weren’t there very long but it was very well equipped. We enjoyed that it was so close to Hiwassee Dam and we were able to see it.

Clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed and more, comfortable beds, very satisfied with everything.

Very nice cabin. Used the grill one night and it was great. TV station options were limitless. We had a very relaxing stay.

I absolutely enjoyed staring at this cabin. There are 6 steps to get into the cabin. Afterwards, the entire cabin is one story. This cabin was enjoyable for my 93 year old grandmother, my 69 year old father, my two year old chihuahua and myself 40 years old. The second bathroom’s shower is best suited for children or shorter adults because it could get a little uncomfortable. If you have a dog, make sure to be mindful that while the deck is enclosed, if you have a smaller or shorter dog, they could slip out of the back deck gate. My dog did just that, so be mindful of that when taking your dog outside in the deck. This is in a gated community and the locals were extremely friendly. The hosts were great, the cabin was spectacular, and my family truly enjoyed our time. We’ll definitely be back.

The only think was the gas grill did not heat up. we got stuff for the grill and it would not get over 125 Degrees very disappointingother than that wonderful stay

One of the few real log cabins in the area, this home was so charming and well decorated. It was pet friendly and even provided a pet bed, food bowls and dog biscuits to make our small pug feel welcome too! Loved the deck and the added bonus of the screened in porch. Home was very clean when we arrived and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The host was available and responsive and the book with local maps, activities and restaurants was very helpful. We would definitely stay in this home again!

My family and I had a great time at this lovely cabin. It was very cozy and felt just like home! The owner was vey attentive and provided great service and was easily available. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was a 45 min drive to blue ridge and an hour drive to Helen. We hope to be back soon!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The property inside and out was kept up so well. Super clean Super relaxing. The views are beautiful and so close to the river.

We missed one night because of Hurricane Hellene but owner offered extra night and late check out. We love Murphy and lake Hiawassi. The cabin was like a home away from home get away. Peace and quiet. We hope to stay there more in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this cavim. The owners were fast to respond and provided a lit of extras, including a bottle of wine. It was clean and comfortable with a cozy mountain feel. We also took our boat and enjoyed the lake. Be sure to rent a boat slip separately if this is in your plans. Marina was also close by.
