La Sal, Utah
Cabin #3, nestled in the country atmosphere of Old La Sal. Offers a cozy and quiet three-bedroom retreat. With a full kitchen and private porch, it’s a home away from home. The contrast to a busy town enhances its peaceful and healing ambiance. Sightseeing at National parks is at your doorstep, while horses add to the sanctuary-like feel. Breathtaking views of the La Sal mountains make it a truly picturesque and rejuvenating retreat!
Easy access - paved roads until last half-mile, which was a good gravel-dirt road. Explicit host directions, especially to mark highway turnoff. Panoramic mountain view. Deer walked by several times per day. No road noise. Very dark, star-filled night sky. Moab is about 35 miles away - nearest known restaurants and supermarket. Arches National Park entrance only 5 miles past Moab. Many scenic parks and sites near Moab. Highly recommended for a scenic, quiet stay.
The cabin is on an animal sanctuary where they rescue animals in need. The cabin was so spacious and had a nice washer n dryer set. Had sinks/vanity in the bedrooms which was handy. We all enjoyed our stay there ♡ I highly recommend this rental.
Spectacular location with beautiful 360 degree skyline views. Super comfortable cabin with perfect allotment of furnishings and amenities. Very accommodating host.
Solitude is what we needed and Solitude is what we got ? The cabin comes with all the needed amenities and the beauty of the location is wonderful! I highly recommend this place. I will be back someday to enjoy it again. Thank you!
This cabin was perfect for us as we headed out into canyonlands for hiking and overlooks. The view of the la sal mountains up close from the cabin was pretty fantastic too
This place was great to stay at. Every morning and evening there was deer that came around the cabins. Almost every night we had one of the cats stop and visit with us while we sat out at the fire.
Beautifully constructed home. Secluded, but close to Canyonlands and Moab. We’ll definitely be back.
We loved our stay at this property.
The cabin was attractive and comfortable, but the purpose of our visit was to hike at Arches and Canyonlands. The drive from Moab and the parks was much farther than we expected and was exhausting after long days of hiking. We never met or even saw the host during our 5-day stay, but the view of the La Sal Mountains was awesome.
This cabin was perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 kids (ages 3 & 5). It was very clean and slightly rustic, but well-stocked with everything we could need. We loved visiting with the many horses and cats and watching the sunrise over the mountains. We would absolutely stay here again!
my family and I chose to spend our children's spring break in Moab Utah this year. We were very excited to find this place only 40 minutes from Moab to stay, as we knew it would be crazy in the city centre and wanted to have a place to relax in between our visits in the beautiful surrounding area. It was great having a kitchen to cook in and a place to spread out a bit, not to mention the beautiful mountain views, so different from the view in Moab. Be prepared, there is virtually no cell phone service, data or WiFi in this entire area, but the cabin does have a WiFi connection, it is just spotty due to the cable company in this area. At the end of a long day, it was actually very nice to disconnect and play card games with each other around the kitchen table, which was exactly what we were looking for. Visiting in March, it was quite snowy there even though in 70s in Moab, so this will be a wonderful place to stay as the rest of Utah heats up in the summer, and I would definitely stay here again.
The house was great the grounds were pretty the only issues we had were the wifi worked maybe 10-20% of the time and the tv was an older tv so it didnt have an hdmi port so we couldn’t hook up any modern electronics to it. Other than that it was an extremely nice stay very peaceful good sized beds nice living room.
