Our property is new construction that we completed in the fall of 2014. Our family lived in this cabin for just more than a year as we completed construction of our forever home. We are close enough to offer you any assistance you may need but far enough away to give you all the space and privacy you will want. It's a rustic cabin finished with all the modern amenities. The decor suggests a modern feel but the log walls and large windows suggest rustic Alaska.

Stayed Jun 7, 2026We absolutely loved our stay at Mountaintop Cabin. Jena is the best owner to work with. Super responsive and they maintain a pristine property, really taking care of their guests. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Seward. If you want space for a family or small group, amazing views, wonderful amenities, close to town but in a very scenic and quiet area, this is the place for you. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We traveled with our family of four and our two teen girls were so thrilled to have their own rooms. The view out the back window simply can't be explained. You have to see it!! We would stay here again without hesitation the next time we are in Seward.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This house is a great find! It has beautiful mountain views and a nice yard. Inside, the house is really perfect. It has a nice layout and everything you need. It’s close enough to be a quick drive to groceries and places to visit in Seward. It’s cute and comfortable. Communicating with the owner was very easy. I recommend this house!

Stayed Jul 8, 2024We loved everything about our stay in this cozy cabin. Our host was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations on things in the area. The cabin was well appointed and having a washer and dryer was a blessing as we were on an extended trip. We were minutes from every activity that we did in the area. And the views out of the big picture windows were stunning. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Apr 3, 2024This property will take your breath away. The views are spectacular and the home is fully stocked with anything you will need. Great open living spaces with very accommodating and comfortable bedrooms. The owners are super easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any concerns or questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Seward; trips into town take less than 5 minutes. We will definitely be returning to this property soon.
