MOUNTAIN JOY COTTAGES #10- BIG BEAR

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Property was in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful but not too far away from dining and entertainment options.

The trees from the porch was blocking most of the view. The bed was hard not enough hot water. There were also spider webs in the bathroom right around the window. I have to say it was in a good location close to everything.

It was very clean and cozy, perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. The property is absolutely stunning this time of year. We enjoyed relaxing out on the front porch, overlooking the pond and all the colorful leaves. Will definitely be back!

Overall the cabin location was quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely be returning back to Mountain Joy.

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

Our three day stay was very pleasant. We found the cabin clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cabin was convenient to the main road.

There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.
