Mountain Cabin/Duplex in Downtown Banner Elk ***REMODELED BATH***2BD 2BA + loft

The view was great. The cabin was very comfortable. Walking distance to several restaurants.

Great place in a great location!

Space was very clean and host was responsive. The AC struggled to keep up but it was cool enough that we just opened windows instead. Overall a nice property to stay at and an easy walk into Banner Elk.

The property was clean and convenient. However be aware that the term ‘basic soaps’ means a bottle of hand soap. There is not even a small bar soap that could also be used in the shower - had to visit the dollar store for those basics. Check out instructions also require that you wash, dry and put away dishes. However there is no dish liquid to do so - only DW detergent pouches so if you need to wash a few glasses etc you need to use liquid hand soap. Also only one dish towel. Finally and most significantly be aware of potential safety issues with access. There are steps outside required to access the property - steep, uneven steps down (which are washed out gravel, dirt, stone and railroad ties - quite treacherous especially if it’s getting dark) and another set (rickety weathered deck boards) up to the small stoop to enter the property). We would not recommend the property to anyone older or with any kind of mobility challenges. Otherwise a comfortable property.

The location in Banner Elk is ideal. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It was painful on our backs. I actually slept on the couch one night. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin.

Great and comfortable cabin with excellent location to walking in downtown. Gas fireplace was nice touch in rainy, cool day.

Great location as we were able to walk downtown in minutes. Partially renovated- master bathroom nice but kitchen dated with old appliances. Refrigerator needs to be sanitized. Dishwasher filter needs to be cleaned. Bedding (sheets and pillows) need to be replaced. Pillows old. Family room furniture a bit worn. Great front porch overlooking downtown. Potential to be an awesome cabin with a little more TLC.

We had a fantastic stay at Banner Views! The home was cozy, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the gas fireplace with the timer made evenings especially relaxing. The front porch was a favorite spot — peaceful and perfect for unwinding.The location is hard to beat. It’s an easy walk to the park behind Circle K and close to great local spots like Blind Elk Taproom, Be Scooped Ice Cream, and Replay Arcade. We also loved how convenient it was to drive over to Beech Mountain Resort for tubing and events.The family room was a perfect gathering space with a nice-sized TV, and the overall vibe of the house felt warm, welcoming, and safe. Even our dog settled right in.We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

The cabin was very clean and easy to find. We only used the MBR but the second bedroom upstairs would have been quite. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

This cabin was the perfect location for a quick weekend trip to Banner Elk. Easy walking distance to downtown. Property was clean and exactly as described. The directions to get to the property were easy to follow (Dunn's Deli closed a couple of years ago but the street is clearly marked). Overall great stay.

Enjoyed our stay in this property close to lots of different attractions. The pictures are very accurate - rustic style with comfortable furnishings. Beautiful mountain view but also extremely easy to walk into Banner Elk for restaurants and shops. It's a great base for exploring the NC mountains. Would stay again!

Cozy cabin walking distance to town! Great fireplace with gas logs and all the kitchen essentials needed for cooking.

We had a great time here! The house was clean and spacious. It snowed 5 inches while we were here and the roads up to the driveway were plowed. There are other residents downstairs who were quiet, we did our best as well, and had no issues. Great stay and we hope to do it again in the future.

Nice place, top two floors. Nice views. Patio overlooking banner elk and sugar mountain. Real short walk to shops and restaurants of banner elk. Clean and comfy stay

Absolutely loved this place. Cute and great for ski weekend. Walking distance to anything in downtown Banner Elk.

My wife and I needed to getaway for a couple of days. Nothing extravagant. Banner Elk and this home was the answer. Close to Grandfather Mountain and Winery(s). Ate at local Tavern which was great. However did cook out on the Weber the first night and enjoyed the front porch and scenery.
