Mountain Cabin on the Chief Ladiga Bike Path, Terrapin Creek, and Pinhoti Trail

This is our 3rd time to stay in this cute little cabin.

Nice, isolated cabin with wraparound porch. All amenities, including ice maker, charcoal grill, and good AC. Beautiful area with a hiking trail to an overlook. Very peaceful and quiet. Close to Chief Ladiga hiking/biking “rail to trail”. Saw several deer.

Lot of land around cabin - much privacy. Good access to Chief Ladoga bike trail - can take short walk or bike ride to get right on trail. Not a lot of restaurants in the area, so nice to have a kitchen.

Wonderful location and within walking distance to the trail. Cant wait to return

Love the cabin and hidden location. Wow, what an adventure just getting there. Apparently Google Maps can take u the wrong way to a Dead End road that has been like that for 20 years. There is supposed to be a Welcome packet you receive but not via Expedia. After we got there the host was very kind and hospitable. Make sure you go up to the Lookout area! Awesome view. If u have bikes, bring them. Great trails to explore. Would definitely go back. Thanks

Really nice quiet property nicely appointed. It is off the Chief Ladiga Trail, about 1/2 mile on a residential gravel road. There is limited to no cell service at this junction on the bike path, so recommend you have the property instructions and directions readily available such as a screenshot. We had to ride 1 mile towards town to obtain cell service to get the directions and checkin information. Host did personally show us a trail shortcut to the C.L. Trail that included nice views and avoided the gravel road. Do note, if you are a cyclist , the address is Piedmont AL, however, Piedmont is 5.7 miles away to the west(?), and a 20-30 minute bike ride to get supplies and meals. Just be prepared that you are not really near town. Would recommend a stay here otherwise !

A nice cabin in the woods where the only distractions are the squirrels and the birds. Good Wi-Fi but no cell service. Nice amenities and very clean. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful.property, grounds, trails, pavillion on the water. Secluded and peaceful. Arrive in daylight.

Very clean and secluded with privacy. We will definitely rent this cabin on our next trip to piedmont/Indian mountain.

Great place to stay, you felt away from the beaten path yet still close to town. We booked our stay to go ride at Indian Mountain ATV Park. Plenty of parking for two trailers. Road was tight in some places for my 32ft long trailer but had no issues getting to and from. Would book again!

Cabin was awesome, clean, cozy and comfortable. The area around the cabin is just as great. Bike, hike or paddle without getting inyo the car. I've rented lots of vrbos. This one is one of the most fun and unique, given the location. Don't be afraid of the travel into the property but best located the first time in daylight. A all around if you love nature and privacy.

Beautiful cabin right on the Chief Ladiga Trail. Cabin was very clean and so peaceful. There is also an overlook you can hike up to with an amazing view. Host was so nice and quick to respond. Will be booking this one again!

This is a very cute cabin in the woods. The property is beautiful. If quiet and solitude is what you are looking for, this would be it. We wished that we could have stayed longer to enjoy it even more. If i should need to be in the area again, I would definately check on availability here.

We enjoyed our stay once we found the place. It wasn’t clear on the map and WiFi wasn’t available in the surroundings, so It took us a while to find it.Nicely finished interior. Clean

Secluded cabin in the foothills.

It was me and my husband we are in our 60s we enjoyed the peacefulness and the walks and it was beautiful, but the one thing that we had a problem with was the bed was small and was very uncomfortable. The love seat did not recline there’s no way you can just sit there and relax and put your feet up. And it was really cold. The first two days we were there and could not go out to walk. Would love to go back but would like for the bed to be more comfortable, thank you Terri Cabeza

My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful getaway with our dogs at the cabin. We brought our bikes for a few days of cycling. We loved every thing about it: quiet, dog friendly, hiking and biking trails, scenic, and extremely comfortable. We can’t wait to return.

We loved the quietness of the propety and cleanliness of it. We would definitely return. I would recommend that more curtains can be added and improve the internet service.

We enjoyed our stay, came to ride bikes on trail. The cabin is wonderful, great location with hiking around and trail within walking distance for riding. We arrived after dark so it was hard to find, but a neighbor helped us out. Thanks to him for stopping and leading us right to the cabin. Would love to stay again. Well stocked with toiletries and kitchen and towels.

Once the location was found it was a very nice, quiet and refreshing stay.

We have stayed in this cabin multiple times and have enjoyed staying each time. One thing that needs corrected is the insulation in the vents. When the air blows it the goes through insulation which is a respiratory hazard. Please fix.

I stayed here with my sister and brother in law. We came to bike Chief Ladiga and Silver Comet Trail. We were comfortable and be enjoyed our surroundings and the views.

The cabin was simple and clean with elegant touches. We enjoyed the privacy the property had to offer, as well as the access to the Chief Ladiga Trail and use of the other trails around the cabin. We would definitely like to stay again!

Very clean always comfortable.very quiet and trail walk on property is a hidden gem.

We have stayed at several cabins over the years but this one is our favorite and our new go-to going forward. It is perfectly secluded and very scenic! There are lots of fun trails and woods to explore and the cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to messages and friendly to work with. We were very happy with our stay!
