The living room has a classic stone fireplace with comfortable seating to sink into and relax after a long day. The ceiling to floor windows bring the outside in and beckon you back out to the large deck. You can always stay inside and cozy up with a warm cup of hot coco or tea. The views of the amazing stars we can see at night are fabulous.
The dining area is right off of the living room and has extra inserts and chairs so that multiple families can eat and visit together. This flows into the amazing kitchen which is perfect for all those chiefs in the group. With stainless steel appliance and granite counter tops there is plenty of space to have more than one person creating those tasty meals. Just off the Family room, there is a back deck that leads to the Hot Tub. You can also access the back of the property where you can enjoy a short walk through the Aspens.
There is a bunk bed room that has 2 sets of bunk beds with room to relax and play in between. Great place for the kids to tell stories and create memories....even for those who are just "kids at heart".
The brass bed on the first floor brings back the comfort of sleeping at "Grandma's House" with the updated Double mattress and decor. This room is also next to the bathroom with the striking blue tile. There is a shower/tub combination and plenty of counter space. This is a great place to change, rinse and head out to the Hot Tub.
Upstairs is the Master Suite. The log furniture is quintessential Colorado furnishing. The Queen bed is nestled in the Alcove. There is a seating area to read, relax or stare out the large windows across the loft at the view. The Master Bath is attached and you can soak in the Jacuzzi tub or jump in the walk-in shower. Both guests staying in the master can get ready for the day of adventure with the double sinks. The washer and dryer are located next to the master and separated in their own closet.
On the large front deck, there is room for dining at the log picnic table or for enjoying a morning coffee coffee or evening drink. There is a log seating area. Your Chef can create those great outdoor meals on the large grill located by the kitchen door.
Off of the Family Room, you can go out to enjoy the Hot Tub that is privately located in the woods surrounding the home.

My friends and I booked this cabin for 6 days 5 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The communication between the property owners was awesome; if we had any questions/concers they were quick to respond and check in! The cabin itself is beautiful. It was very clean and felt homey. The only thing I will say is, if you’re skiing in Breckenridge it is about a 30 min drive. We were in Breckenridge everyday and the drive was beautiful but just know that it’s a ways. Also make sure you’re good with the altitude being 10,000 in elevation! 4.5/5 stars for me. Would definitely recommend and would book again! Thank you for a great time:)
My family and I had the most spectacular time at the Pura Vida Lodge for Thanksgiving. The cabin was beautiful and so comfortable-- the amenities exceeded our expectations. The hot tub outside, the jacuzzi tub in the master suite, and multiple fire places really add such a special touch. The house was full of games, comfy beds, fully furnished kitchen where we made our entire Thanksgiving meal, even a telescope! It is located 30 minutes from Breckenridge and 10 minutes from Fairplay-- the perfect location for a nice intimate vacation but close enough to activities and necessities. I cannot say enough good things about the house and I highly recommend it. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us!
The property had it all and was close to really good towns to visit.
This cabin was remote and had great views. The hot tub was great and we had fun playing the games and doing puzzles.
I was looking for a quit mountain retreat. I contacted the owner before booking to see if property was secluded since I really didn't want to see or hear anyone. I was assured no one would be around. 100% true! House was clean and location was great! Deck was amazing to hang out on and observe the trees. The people in Alma were very friendly when we decided to explore the town a little. I completely LOVED my stay!
Shower on main floor needs new tub spout for shower . It dribbles out . The shower upstairs doesn't drain well . Other than that was absolutely perfect.
We stayed 5 days for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it!!! The cabin was very comfortable and we felt at home right away! We loved that the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook all week. They had some hot chocolate in the cabinet we were able to enjoy sipping outside on the balcony. We had some questions about the hot tub and they answered our text messages right away! We loved the jacuzzi bath tub upstairs too! Everyone in the little town of Alma was very kind and helpful. The only thing I would warn about was the lack of reception in Alma. Really dependent on the wifi in the cabin. We always made sure to load up our Google maps right before leaving the cabin. Other than that we loved our time there! Would definitely recommend!!
Nice and pleasant transactions
This cabin is truly the best. It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect mountain getaway. Books, puzzles, ample chopped firewood, and a Christmas tree. It was magical! We will absolutely be back!
It was perfect for me and my family to get away from the every day stress. We loved every minute of it.
Very nice cabin with good views. Only negative I had is the master bedroom is a loft and no privacy. You can also hear highway noise while sitting outside.
Beautiful home, well furnished and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed a month!
Such a great stay! Lovely and clean cabin, great communication, awesome location!
Beautiful home and wonderful stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay! We spent a week at the cabin! It was well supplied with all the essentials plus!!!! We enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy of the area. Most of activities were in Leadville, which was a little misleading on the map because it’s on the other side of the mountain, but overall we didn’t mind the drive. The wildflowers were gorgeous around the cabin! My kids enjoyed picking them during our trip! The Al-Mart near by was surprisingly supplied with great, organic options! Thanks again for sharing your home! It definitely got out future dreams sparked for our potential second home options!
We stayed at the cabin for 2 weeks. Loved its convenient location to Breck and south to fishing and rafting. Nice quite nights!
This was a lovely little house and we had a good time. Manager was very responsive to and helpful with questions.
