Elk City, Idaho
This 3 bedroom 1 bath cabin is located 5 miles from Elk City, and has a full kitchen with all the essentials of home. If you like the outdoors this is a great place to stay and getaway. The American River is only 1 mile away and off road trails are accessible right from this location.
Very nice place - great host and lovely location
It was beautiful and big! Just hard to find. I am going bavk for sure!!!
Loved the cabin. It has lots of room for people to stay. The three bedrooms are all spacious. The front area is very spacious. The cabin is located in a very quiet area.
Nice place. Its rural and relaxing. Not over the top (snobbish) but everything you need. Great for down to earth people. Owner friendly but respected your privacy. Would stay again and again. ( we were in the 3 bedroom house not the cabins. The cabins were busy place)
If you are looking for a 1950 style lodging, then you may like this joint. It is extremely difficult to find and we were immediately locked out with the door code inside. We were able to climb into cabin through the kitchen window. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. But, it was not worth the money I paid. Never again.
We rented this cabin for a side x side weekend to Elk City. It was perfect! Quiet, clean, very simple, but just what we needed, a place to sleep and gather. The owner was easy to get ahold of when I needed something. One WARNING!! ***there is NO CELL SERVICE IN ELK CITY*** make sure you have the location and ALL the information before you leave on your trip. Would definitely plan to stay here again.
It was what I expected. Great clean little cabin. Road was a little muddy just before the place. If you aren't familiar with remote Idaho cabins you won't understand. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
We arrived at the cabin well past our expected arrival time. We would never have found the cabin without some excellent directions from a person in Elk City. Did not notice any directions on the website, just a map which was hard to use. The cabin is much nicer inside than it would appear from the outside. The interior looks totally remodeled. Only complaints are that propane heater in living room is hard to set for low heat. The cabin can get very warm. The sofa in the living room has stains. The bathroom is very nice, but has no fan. We did not see a coffee maker in the cabin. The kitchen did not have any dish soap for washing dishes. All and all, it was a pleasant overnight stay. It would be comfortable for larger groups since it has 3 large bedrooms. The cabins are a good choice for lodging since Elk City has very limited other lodging.
We were booked in cabin #3 and when entering the cabin we discovered a broken water line and the cabin was flooded. Luckily cabin #4 was available and we were able to stay there. The location was beautiful and the little community of Elk City was very friendly. We plan to go there again
been there twice already. Love it. Will be going again soon
