Delightful location with awesome views, super comfy bed, close to nature and with all the basic necessities for a quiet retreat. Clear and timely communication, overall a great experience.
We arrived on the first night of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, which was also a super blue moon in September, a most auspicious beginning! We love this property which was most conducive to writing everyday. The kitchen was conveniently well-appointed, the outside deck a great place to hangout, and the sunsets as others have noted are an everchanging panorama of awe and beauty. And it was so quiet! We'd love to come back.
Love this place. Such a beautiful view and so peaceful. I try to stay here every year!
My husband and I are in our 70's and 80's. We arrived Monday and left the next day, Tuesday, because we were too cold. The only heating source available was a wood burning stove in the living room and a propane fireplace in the bedroom. We cannot use a wood burning stove or fireplace because we e are allergic to the smoke. It would be nice if they had a propane heater in the living room also. The other problem we had for this day and age there was only 1 electric outlet in the living room/dining area. It would be nice if they had some electric outlets by the kitchen table. Other than that, the location/views were outstanding.
This cabin is located out of town and provides a cozy living situation with a remarkable view. The cabin is basic but comfortable. We’ll stocked. Gail, the property manager, and Ron, the owner, were quick to respond when we needed some assistance.
We enjoyed our stay so much! Visited Bodega Bay, enjoyed the sunsets and our fur baby had as much fun as we did. Warm fireplace mornings and cozy nights!
We enjoyed our getaway and I expect we will be back some day. Beautiful sunsets and superb views. Cabin was well equipped and even shared some of the local fall harvest.
Looked for a property where we could relax with our dogs and we found it. This property is away from everything but nature and it was perfect! We loved it and so did the deer that joined us every morning. We will return!
rustic little cabin with comfy bed and functional kitchen on a beautiful piece of land away from it all. views & sunsets are amazing; many birds calls and sights.
We had a great time at the Moonview Ranch! The property was gorgeous, and the cabin was cute and clean. My fiance and I came up with our two dogs, and everyone had an excellent time. The dogs ran up and down the front field all day while the humans lounged outside on a picnic blanket in the sun (or barbecued on the deck). We enjoyed every sunset, and at night we all cozied around the warm wood stove in the living room. We enjoyed just walking around outside so much that we forgot to play bocce ball. We didn't have an issue finding the place as Gail sent us very detailed and clear instructions. The kitchen was actually pretty well stocked and we didn't need to bring half the stuff we did! The bed was also super comfortable and we slept well. Our visit was rejuvenating and restful, and coming from a city, it was really wonderful to spend a couple days with no one else in sight! We look forward to coming back!
We had a wonderful time here relaxing and watching the sunset. It was a great home base for excursions. We will be back!
