Very nice cabin not far from places and very clean

This place is wonderful! So comfy and quiet. What an amazing place. Clean not cluttered. We had a wonderful time. This property has it all!

We really wanted to see a moose but missed it as we had already left for the day but Curtis sent us a ring video!! Would highly recommend staying at The Mighty Moose

I would rate it 7/5 if possible. Great place to stay and enjoy. There were so many surprises for kids and adults, we didn’t want to leave ! Attic bedroom is so much fun. We had a mighty moose in front yard. The owner had kept wood for fire, multiple coffee makers and easy access to online streaming. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time,the cabin is beautiful but we screwed up when planning this trip in early April, we stayed here because the closeness to Yellowstone park and found out the park did not open till mid April. We made the best of it.The house was great, thank you for letting stay in your beautiful home,

The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed for our group of 6 to enjoy a fun weekend of snowmobiling. Ample parking and right near the trails made it a great location to enjoy the Island Park area. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for any food prep needs. Everything was clean and functional. We had a great time!

This is the perfect location for West Yellowstone as it is truly only 20 minutes away. Cabin is large, charming and comfortable with plenty of kitchen accessories. Wonderful porch and comfy furniture. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to yellewstone, well stocked kitchen, host is very accommodating. We had awesome family time! We have also stayed at their Mesquite home, very nice there also!

Convenient location, nice wildlife spotting.

It was a great stay. I still miss the cabin and yellow stone. We didn't have chance to see Moose in yellow stone park. But we saw Mooses around the cabin. The host also sent us another Moose video. You can really see Mooses around Mighty Moose Log Cabin! LOL!And, the host is great! Very good at communication!

We were looking for a nice place that allowed pets near Yellowstone. The property was clean and just the right size. We used the washer and dryer daily. It was nice to come back from the park, then sit around the campfire making s’mores. We saw moose right outside of the cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well stocked and not too long of a drive to Yellowstone.

This cabin is fantastic and location near Yellowstone was perfect. The large open floor plan and comfortable furniture made for a wonderful stay. The loft was excellent for our purposes and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen had all that we needed and we used the grill every night. The owners were easy to work with and communication was great.

Our group of 6 was very comfortable here. We enjoyed the proximity to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Plenty of space inside to spread out and relax after a long day of travel and exploring the park. Note, you are right next to a highway and have neighbors all around. Don’t expect to see wildlife from this location. But you are promised to see animals in Yellowstone.

Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Grocery store was located within 4 minutes of cabin and had a good variety of food. Property was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the camp fire each evening. We seen a moose and a fox come through the property. West Yellowstone was a short drive away for supper each night and entrance to the park. The cabin had everything we needed, including bear spray, a hard shell cooler and a collapsable cooler.

RENT THIS PLACE WHEN VISITING YELLOWSTONE NP! We were so comfortable at the Western-decor, modern Mighty Moose Cabin. For our group of 10 (2 seniors, 7 adults, and 1 6-yr old), the accommodation was perfect! It met three most important needs: excellent sleep since the sturdy, rustic-framed queen beds were super comfortable and warm and the environment was quiet during sleeping hours; superbly stocked kitchen (plenty of quality pots, pans, utensils, serving dishes, coffee-makers, stocked pantry for minor needs, and a large frig/freezer with fast-working ice dispenser); and, finally, comfortable spaces for quality family time as well as privacy. We cooked meals all 7 days, including using the BBQ and the outdoor fire pit, and prepared lunches for the daily outings to nearby Yellowstone NP. Even if you don't go into the Park or other places, just being at the cabin is enjoyable: on four of our seven days, we observed moose and fox crossing the aspen-dominated wooded property and we took walks thru the surrounding neighborhood, which is on a slight hill so you can see mountains and valleys around. Everything was very clean and functional and the pictures of the property match reality. Communication with Curtis and family was flawless and very prompt. The only negative of our stay was interruption of pleasant bird chatter by occasional local ATV and truck traffic on the adjacent county road during the day. Despite this minor issue, we would most definitely book this place again!

The property is very clean and the owner is very responsive. Only stayed 3 nights and were busy visiting Yellowstone but would have liked to spend more time at the cabin to enjoy it more. Highly recommend!!! Would definitely stay again!!

Property had everything we needed including bear spray. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Host was very attentive. Easy drive to West Yellowstone. We enjoyed staying there very much.

Great location for a Yellowstone vacation. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. Clean and comfortable. Fire pit was nice for cool evenings. Cabin is dog friendly and even has bowls for the puppers. The second bedroom is a full size mattress, not Queen. The primary bed is comfortable. Host has many extras available such as Bear spray, coolers, fans, games, and saw things if you bring a baby. Neighborhood is quiet. We walked the dogs on the main road and around the block behind and felt completely safe. The area is beautiful and the lake past the house is as well.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 7's trip to Yellowstone. Communication was great. Check in was super simple. Loved every second of it.

Comfortable get a way, whether going out to explore or staying in. And keep your eyes alert. We saw fox, moose and elk right from the living room. We were so happy with this cabin and location.

We have never done a VRBO before, and we could not have asked for a better experience. This property is just as it's pictured. It is a truly wonderful cabin that has a very home like feel! The cabin owner checked in with us regularly to make sure all was going well! I highly recommend this property and the owners!

This place was so clean so well thought out these hosts went above and beyond to cater to every need you could possibly have, closets stocked with all kinds of things you might need from kennels to baby items extra blankets and more. Kitchen had so many extras the decor in this cabin was absolutely perfect cozy and so well thought out. The host answered my millions of questions promptly and was courteous and helpful. There was nothing not to love about this place and so close to Yellowstone we had the best time exploring. A quiet peaceful serene area I would definately stay again and recommend to any visiting Yellowstone area.

My family flew into Montana for a friends wedding. We decided to extend our trip to include visiting Yellowstone. Mighty Moose Lodge was the perfect stay for our family. It was close and convenient to park entrance. Communication with Curtis was great. Very helpful information. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great time visiting Yellowstone park and the town. We had just as much fun relaxing at the house, we had moose come through the yard, we heard coyotes howling to each other. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Everyone was great to work with and everything went smoothly. Thank you so much

We had a great time in the Mighty Moose. It was just as described. No issues at all. There were condiments and spices available. We loved having the foam cooler, cooler bag, and bear spray available. Plenty of dishes and silverware. We enjoyed a night sitting around the fire and used the grill often. The moose frequented the yard jf you were lucky to be around when they passed through. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this location while visiting Yellowstone. It was a lovely cabin with amenities as indicated. Some other homes fairly close by but with trees and grassland areas it feels secluded. Our group included older adults as well as younger children. Kids were excited by the selection of games and sharing the loft space together. Cabin had most everything you would want, except for your own food of course. There were trash bags, food storage bags, paper towels, variety of spices along with some staples,, condiments in the fridge and dishwasher and washer soap pods guests are welcome to use. A welcome gift bag provided a nice touch four our arrival. Also we had the delight of seeing 2 moose behind the cabin one evening. Kept watching for them to return but only saw them once. Close to HWY 20 so easy access to places in Island Park and about 20 minutes from West Yellowstone. We were able to enjoy Yellowstone and river rafting and kayaking through Mack's Inn. Also enjoyed local restaurants and found them to be family friendly. Great place for family vacation and enjoying nature!

The cabin was great. Close to Yellowstone Park. Contact with the property owner was easy either by texy or phone. We had one minor issue. He was willing to call the handyman to come out rightaway that night, but since it was our last night and we were leaving early we decided to it should wait till the next day.
