Stayed Jul 3, 2025There is not plenty of privacy with Little Middle cabin. It is right in the middle of a play area with sand box/slide on one side of cabin and basketball court on the other side. Not a lot of ventilation in the cabin. Ceiling fans would help. It is not as light and airy as the photos show. Shari does work with you to accommodate your needs.

Stayed Jun 30, 2023My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed Jul 7, 2022Had a wonderful time on Sugar Island. Remember to bring everything you need. There are no stores! Paddle boat, canoeing and kayaking all available to you.. We will come again! We had a good time and will come again!

Stayed Jun 22, 2022We stayed at the little cabin and it was super cute. Just enough room for the two of us which was perfect. Nice little beach with canoes and paddle boats to rent. Anything we needed we were able to talk to the owners about. We enjoyed our stay on Sugar Island.
