Majestic mountain view, Luxury Home, Total seclusion-Privacy, Hot Tub, Fireplace

This place was absolutely everything as described and more. My family and I spent 4 days of pure bliss here! Everything was clean, alot of game options, warm hot tub and phenomenal views. The owners were great with communication. We loved it and cant wait to go back!

The property was incredible! Perfect for a family get away or a place to pause the daily life routine and enjoy nature. Everything you could need was provided, the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Really enjoyed every minute of our time at Eagles Nest. The hosts were very kind and attentive. Will be returning in the future!

Eagles Nest was very inviting and cozy. The house was clean, had a well- stocked kitchen and was appointed appropriately with nature and wildlife items. All beds were extremely comfortable. The mountain views are incredible! We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Great stay in the mountains! Amazing view, very quiet and neat little towns 30 min. In all directions. Indoor and outdoor fires were perfect and the hot tub is the perfect place to end the day

We had a great time during our stay here. The property was very nice and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were amazing and the location was very private. Loved that the jacuzzi was just outside the master bath, so it was easy to hop in and out without freezing since we stayed during the winter.The host was easy to contact and very responsive, promptly answering a few questions we had. They were also flexible with us given we had quite a snowstorm come through, and I really appreciated that. Our dog loved lounging on the deck and by all the windows. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for something that is private, cozy, but not too far from town - the River Walk was great for taking our dog, and we stopped by Buck Bald Brewery on the way back which I would highly recommend for craft beer. The location also is close to hiking which we also took advantage of and visited the waterfall. We are already discussing returning when the weather is warmer to enjoy some of the many summer activities in the area and plan to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time! It was so relaxing and quiet. The views were fabulous and the house was great. Melody was so nice and so easy to work with. We can't wait to go back!

The cabin was very uncomfortable. The cleaning person was just leaving when we arrived at 5:00. It is very hard to open the lockbox where the key is kept to access the cabin. The kitchen has very little space to prep and cook food. The basement where two people slept was cold with no way to heat or cool it. There was a space heater that didn't work. If the thermostat upstairs was adjusted to warm the basement then it was too hot for the people sleeping upstairs. There were no extra blankets other than a couple of light sofa throws. Each bathroom only had one washcloth. The deadbolt on door in bedroom in basement wouldn't latch. There is no garbage pick-up at the cabin so you have to take trash to a sanitation station. It was only open one time while we were there so we had to transport bags of garbage out when we left. This should have been disclosed where the cabin is advertised. There were more comforts for pets than people and we didn't have any pets. The whole experience was depressing and this property did not work for our family.

My friends and I were blown away with by this cabin. It was clean, well-kept, and very spacious. The property was hidden and tucked away in the woods, which gave an aspect of privacy and seclusion, which was really enjoyed. The cabin also offers an amazing view and plenty of entertainment options and amenities. Also the speakers that are upstairs and connect to the outside balcony were a hidden gem. We will definitely consider coming back!!!

This was the most perfect family getaway! The view was spectacular! The comforts of home were readily available. From the comfortable beds to an abundance of kitchen appliances/supplies to fun family entertainment (tvs, pool table, hot tub). If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!! My only regret is that we didn’t book for longer. The hostess was responsive to questions prior to the trip and provided helpful information in terms of local grocery store, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. We will definitely be returning!!

Very nicely accommodated and great communication with the owners who are very responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook; the cabin is very spacious and clean. The pictures are accurate and did not disappoint. The town of Murphy is very close if you forget something with a nice grocery store (Ingles). Tons of things to do in the area but also the cabin is just a nice place to chill with your loved ones.

The property was perfect! Great view, private, and very well appointed. The owner was available for questions and she has honestly thought of everything! Would highly recommend! My mother is already trying to decide when we will return.

We stayed 11 days at this beautiful cabin for our 50th anniversary . We loved everything about our time there. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.Any questions we had were answered very quickly. We would definitely love to stay here in the future.Viewing the sunsets and hummingbirds on the porch was a highlight of our visit.

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon here. The view, the privacy, all of it was wonderful and we will be coming back again hopefully!

Loved the cabin and views, it was very well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and making S’mores on the deck. It had great views. We would love to come back again.

We would stay here a million more times! It was super clean, super cute and everything you need is there. The back porch is super cute and the view is beautiful. The first time you drive up it’s a little scary, but well worth it! We will definitely be staying there again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the beautiful mountains. It was amazing! The home was perfect for our little getaway and had everything you could possibly want or need. Our host, Melody, was great and she provided us with perfect directions to get up the mountains, etc. We loved the views sitting out on the deck and having the speakers out there was great as we listened to greatest hits of Bob Seger and Fleetwood Mac via Bluetooth. We had squirrels visit us each day and a friendly deer too. The Hummingbirds were happy when I filled a couple of feeders. We loved our time at this property and want to come back someday. I highly recommend you check this property out, you won’t be disappointed. A

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures - it was perfect and the view from the deck was breathtaking. We did a couple short day trips, but for the most part, were content to just stay and enjoy the relaxation we found at this property.

Overall we had a great time at the cabin. It was my husband and I celebrating our 27th anniversary and we had a peaceful week to ourselves. The place is nice and any issues that we had were quickly resolved by Melody. We did share that the leather couches are in need of replacement due to the worn out cushions and that she relayed that they will be replaced in the next few months. That would be our biggest concern because we spent a lot of time in this area enjoying the awesome few and visiting hummingbirds. Would visit again - great cabin in a remote setting. We even had a bear visit one early morning - very exciting!

We loved our stay. The view can not be beat! If your looking to get away from it all this is the place to be.

I so enjoyed sitting on the Deck, Cooking on the Deck, Eating on the Deck, Watching the Sunset on the Deck... Family had a great time playing pool and watching the Birds and Wildlife including a daily visit from the flock of Turkeys. I do hope to return one day.

House was beautiful, well equipped with everything you could possibly need and then some. Great location with privacy, but close enough to go into surrounding towns within 20 minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place and the view is everything. The drive up wasn’t as bad as we expected after reading other reviews. About 20-25 to the casino or into downtown Murphy. Would love to come back in the summer and spend more time on the deck.

Melody had great communication with us the entire time and was very helpful! The house comes fully ripped with tons to do and lots to see from the back deck. We loved the home, all the decor and the amenities! Highly recommend for couples or families!

We recently spent a week at the Majestic Mountain View home, and it was truly wonderful. It snowed just before we arrived, which created some challenges for both us and the property manager. However, they handled the situation with kindness and generosity, and everything worked out very well.The house is really wonderful It's comfortable, has an absolutely amazing view (especially for sunsets), and has a very well-stocked kitchen. Obviously if you need some specific kitchen tool you should bring one along, but I have rarely seen a place with as many useful kitchen items as this one. I cooked every meal for a week in their kitchen with no issues at all.Definitely be aware that the house is truly isolated. It's at the top of a long, narrow gravel road with no other properties even close to it. For us, that was a big benefit. I don't think you absolutely need a 4WD car to get to the house, but if you're coming when it might rain or snow then it would probably be a good idea.I would not hesitate to come back here. We were very impressed overall by the house, and the property manager was really wonderful.

Our stay was wonderful! The view was beautiful and the house was super comfy. We loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the pool table. Our pups loved being in the mountains as well. A very fun and relaxing stay!

My partner and I absolutely loved spending a long weekend at this beautiful cabin! The pictures don’t do justice to the stunning view. We had a blast visiting a few business in the area, but honestly we spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the view with a nice book and warm fire or out in the hot tub relaxing in nature. The cabin is thoroughly secluded at the end of the road, and we didn’t see a soul the entire time we were there. 10/10 wonderful experience and I hope we can visit again soon.

We loved the house, property, and the heavenly views! It was perfect for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed spending our thanksgiving at the cabin! We’d love to stay again if they’ll have us!

Very comfortable, incredible views, challenging drive

We had a great time! In fact, we didn't want it to end! Coffee on the deck watching the hummingbirds and other birds, enjoying short day trips, playing pool with lots of laughs, and ending the day in the hot tub. We used the grill the first night for supper and everything we needed was easy to find. While the temperatures were warm, there was firewood ready to go had we needed it. This is a beautiful place and we look forward to returning in the future!

This home is magnificent. It has a cozy and luxurious feel simultaneously. The views are incredible and there are many fun adventurous things to do in the area. It was extremely clean and really well stocked. The hosts were so nice and were easy to comunicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

It has a beautiful mountain view, is tranquil, and has lots of birds. Bear visited twice. Ride up the mountain is a challenge, but the seclusion is well worth it.
