Magnolia Mountain Getaway

Loved the setting. Didn't like drive up or driveway. Kitchen was good.

I didn't see the host during my visit but everything went smoothly so that didn't matter. The cabin is lovely but this time of year the angle of the sun showed how much the windows needed to be cleaned. That spoiled the view somewhat. The only real issue was the height of the bed in the master bedroom as no steps are provided. It was good I am tall and was able to get into it.

The cabin was ideal for our girls trip. Loved the cute interior and comfortable beds. The porch was perfect for morning coffee, watching the sunrise, and a little stargazing. Great location to get to hikes in the Indian Peaks and to Boulder for a nice to dinner. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Cabin was clean and as advertised and hosts were very nice. Views from deck were pretty yet still close to downtown Boulder. Only downside was beds could have been more comfortable.

Was a great stay close to Boulder, we took day trips to Ft Collins, Denver and Longmont. The cabin is comfortable and quiet. The hosts were great to communicate with.

Stayed in summer months, we very pleasant. took one time to get used to driveway, but was very nice stay.

Rustic little cabin in great location for easy access to Boulder. Beautiful to be in nature and to see the stars at night. The only negative is that we were there in July and there is no air conditioning or ceiling fans in the bedrooms - so it was extremely hot and we all struggled to sleep for the 3 nights we were there. Would definitely recommend during the cooler months.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area, with easy access to Boulder. Definitely need 4 wheel drive with decent ground clearance.

Joe, the host, was super friendly and very helpful with local recommendations. The property is quiet and has incredible views from the deck. Would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect place to stay for CU graduation weekend. 15 minutes from Boulder. Spacious living and dining to host 5 for dinner. Wonderful communication with host.

Great location for so many reasons. Beautiful view from the deck. A short drive into downtown Boulder. A short drive to plenty of different hikes.

Our cabin on the mountain was Perfect! WE wanted a mountain experience & we got it. Super clean, Great views, everything you needed in the house.The drive up is a bit of a challange, the 1st time. Its hairy, coming from the flatlands...Boulder is Boulder. Nederland is great to visit too! Great pizza place there.If in the Boulder area, This is the #1 place to stay!

The purpose of our trip was to get away, relax and enjoy nature. This house was perfect for that. It had everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable! We even woke up to snow one morning. My dad is older and had a little trouble getting in and out of the tub. My only suggestion would be a dresser of some kind in the master bedroom. I can’t wait to come back!

We made a quick trip to Boulder and loved our stay. The perfect location. Easy trip to Boulder and Nederland. The house was lovely and Joseph was super helpful and quick to respond. I would stay there again!

My husband, two boys (ages 9 & 5), and myself stayed at Magnolia Mountain Getaway for 6 days and it was so hard to leave! Such a beautiful cabin and property. Check in, and communication throughout our stay was a breeze. This was honestly the first time I've never had questions or needed anything fixed/replaced/supplied. Hoping we will make it back!

The property is located close to Boulder and Nederland. Nothing extravagant but nothing is missing either. Great views, close to hiking, skiing, and fishing. Check in and check out were simple and efficient. Owners live on property and were kind and helpful. The driveway can be hard to find especially from the West. If you have small children bring a humidifier, especially if you aren't used to the dry Colorado air. We would stay here again.

Cozy house perfect for a family or 2 to 3 couples. Views off of the balcony were amazing. Enjoyed the sunrise with my coffee on the first morning. Driveway is dirt with some ruts so the Jeep we had came in handy.

Beautiful views, great area, near tons of trails. Perfect all around!

The house has a fantastic view for stargazing and gorgeous mountain views that are a dream to wake up to. The immediate surroundings are very quiet, but it only takes a quick 15 minute drive to get into Boulder. The hosts were very responsive, and provided access to essentials during our stay. If you're looking for something in this area, consider your search over!

The location of the property was perfect for us - close proximity to Boulder while being far enough to be peaceful, quiet, and without much light pollution at night (great for stargazing and photography). Wildlife visits every day/night - turkeys, hummingbirds, and a family of deer slept just below the back deck one night. The place could use a couple of upgrades, but it was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. A great home base for excursions into Boulder, Rocky Mt Park, and surrounding hiking areas.
