Stayed Jul 31, 2025Treehouse was very clean, peaceful, and we had a great time and it was also close to Copperhill and the white water rafting trips. The owners were very helpful getting us settled in. Thanks

Stayed Jun 27, 2025My wife and I stayed at Treehouse Mountain this past weekend to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I chose the location because it was just 15–20 minutes from our white water rafting destination and seemed like a unique experience—and it absolutely was. Tom and Elke were incredibly welcoming. Even though we arrived around 11 PM on Friday, Tom was there to greet us and help carry our luggage to the treehouse. He was friendly, informative, and eager to assist with anything we needed. While we’ve stayed in several cabins before, this was our first time in a treehouse—and it exceeded all expectations. It was surprisingly spacious, thoughtfully designed, fully stocked with amenities, and impeccably clean. Truly a work of art. The setting was peaceful and quiet; we hardly noticed anyone else around. The location also made it easy to explore nearby towns with plenty of dining and activities, though next time we visit, we plan to spend more time enjoying the treehouse itself. We stayed in La Paz, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re looking forward to trying out the disc golf course and sauna

Stayed Jun 20, 2025WOW! The treehouse was amazing and so much more than we expected. We were welcomed by owner's Tom and Elke who helped us get our belongings to the treehouse. They were wonderful hosts. We stayed at LaPaz and it was so comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. The furnishing were over the top and and attention to detail was evident everywhere. I especially enjoyed all the whimsy and how wood was used for countertops, shelving and the wall in the upstairs bedroom. From our first contact with Elke who answered all of my questions, to Layla who kept us up to date with excellent communication, and to Tom who had such knowledge of so many topics and wonderful stories, our trip was amazing. We highly recommend you make a reservation and stay at Treehouse Mountain.

Stayed May 26, 2025We found the Treehouse on our arrival to be Clean and well maintained. Anything we needed during our stay such as utensils, dishes, glasses where waiting on us. Photos on the the website accurately display what the treehouses look like. The only difference is that it is much more exciting when you see them in person. Tom and Elke were great host and went out of their way to insure our stay was a pleasure!

Stayed May 13, 2025Our first treehouse stay did not disappoint! We had everything we could ask for! Having bot the Coffee Drip Maker and Electric Tea Kettle was great because we have coffee and tea drinkers in our family. We forgot coffee so it was appreciated that you supplied some! The bedding was comfortable and I apologize because we didn't find the linens until the second night as they were well hidden in the drawers under the futon! We are a family of three with an adult son so La Paz suited us perfectly. The water from the faucet was so good which meant we didn't have to lug around a bunch of canned waters! However there was no hot water so if we wanted to wash dishes, wash hands, wash face, we had to boil water first and wait till it cooled or just use cold, or go to the bathhouse. I did feel like I was missing a mirror in the treehouse somewhere, to apply skincare or makeup and do hair. Loved the private fire pit where we roasted hot dogs one night. It had been heavy raining, for at least a couple of days before we arrived and during the first night, and there was some moisture coming from the tree but not any leaky drips from the ceiling. And we say a crawly or flying thing or two in the treehouse but that's ok, that just goes with the territory of staying in a treehouse. We were graced with a luna moth outside the treehouse on our first night and a tiger moth on our second! The mountain laurels were in bloom all around and that was just so lovely. The weather in May wasn't too hot either but we did run the AC and fans because I like it cold. That did mean that it was noisy sleeping and I wished I had brought earplugs, so I would bring some if we stayed again. It was dark at night except for the running lights leading up to the treehouses but it didn't bother us.

Stayed Mar 9, 2025Tom and his wife were the best hosts we have experienced in all the years traveling. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everything was first class as far as the mattress, linens and towels. It was nice having high quality and matching plates, cooking utensils and appliances. The black stone was fun to cook on. We brought our dog who enjoyed the stay as well. It was very relaxing just hanging out on the porch and sitting by the fire pit. Looking forward to going back during a different season. I would highly recommend taking a trip here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969La Paz treehouse stay was such an unique experience. It had all the charm of an actual treehouse along with all the comfort and amenities you’d want while away from home. It was a perfect fall break getaway. Very nice owners and dog friendly, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I just got married and we decided early on to do a proper honeymoon next summer, because of both of our schedules. However, we decided on a whim to look for somewhere to stay for the evening. We stumbled upon Treehouse Mountain after looking at several treehouse options in the blue ridge mountains, and they were the only ones that 1) called us back, and 2) offered us to stay for 1 night even though they normally require 2 day night stays. The treehouse was stock with everything we needed except for food! And there are quite a few places within 10-15 minutes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn’t get to use the fire pit. We both love to sit by the fire as well as cook over an open flame. We look forward to that next time. They were gracious to accommodate us and were very attentive hosts. We will definitely be back for a multiple night stay!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our second time staying at Treehouse Mountain, and just like with our first visit, it did not disappoint. We are beginning to view this as our family's happy place. The property is fantastic, the treehouses are beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the family who owns the place is beyond awesome. They are incredibly accommodating and helpful. They know the area very well and share their knowledge with guests. They also have an amazing frisbee golf course that has officially turned us into frisbee golfers. I have no doubt that we will continue to return!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful stay at La Paz. The treehouse is beautiful with a beautiful view. It is peaceful. Our kids enjoyed playing on the playground on the property. The griddle was very useful for cooking dinner. The treehouse even had a guitar. The suspension bridge was neat. Tom and Elke were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend staying in one of the 4 treehouses.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I traveled to Copperhill, TN, just over the GA border, to experience Treehouse Mountain for 2 days in their Le Paz Treehouse. The owner, Elke, met us immediately and ferried our luggage in a golf cart up the path and she actually helped us carry it all in! Honestly, we were stunned by the beauty and craftmanship of this abode. Elke described the carpenter who built the treehouses as really an artist. She and her family (on-site) proceeded to decorate like pro's. The treehouse was so well crafted to make it sturdy and so beautiful as to amaze. (See video!) Any little issues were handled immediately and when ready to leave, her husband was ready with the golfcart to help us back down to our car. It was really difficult to leave such a magical place and such wonderful hosts. We will return!
