This is one of our cabins that has three bedroom / two baths located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and Frio Canyon, right on the banks of the Frio River. All are on the banks of the beautiful Frio River among the century old Cypress Trees. We believe we offer a unique Texas Hill Country experience in the quiet, secluded surroundings along the Frio River.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Our cabin was abolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. Within a short distance from the river, you really can’t beat that. Our host provided plenty of supplies to enhance our stay, I would definitely come back again and highly recommend anyone to choose this cabin!

Stayed Nov 22, 2025Our bed was good. Cabin was spacious and lovely. Crystal clear Frio river just steps outside the back door. Close to Garner State Park and Lost Maples. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Oct 15, 2025Nice log cabin on the frio river. Nice kitchen and bedrooms were comfy. Host answered my questions as we were staying there..very attentive. Washer and dryer were a plus. Nice area to take walks in the river or on the large property.

Stayed Sep 21, 2025Perfect get away for our family. We had our small grandchildren with us and they loved playing in the shallow areas of the river. The cabin has a nice back porch with a great view of the river. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Stayed Aug 2, 2024We really enjoyed our stay in this little hamlet. The house was comfortable, the access to the river was great. My only complaint was that it was not super easy to get down to the river but we made it work. My kids and husband had no issues with access, it was just me. That portion of the river was so quiet and peaceful, we felt like we had the whole river to ourselves. Definitely worth the drive!

Stayed May 20, 2024The cabin is very roomy and very nice. Access to the river is slightly challenging directly from the house but manageable. There are lots of games, but no scrabble or yahtzee. Luckily, we beought our own. That's not really a big deal, just a hint ?. Beds are comfortable and the back deck is nice and large with a great view of the river. The river has a good amount of water but the flow is very slow. All in all we had a great time. The host is very responsive and very cordial. Thanks again!

Stayed Sep 27, 2023My family and I enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer - comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, kids’ kayaks, paddles, foosball and more. We stayed in the river most of the time, which was so close to the house. Tom is a great host! We will definitely come again.
