This comfortable luxury cabin nestled at the top (and most quiet) area of the gated Riverbend community in Lake Lure boasts the single fastest Internet connection in all of the greater Chimney Rock area.

While the daily activities of hiking, biking, golf, swimming, boating, horseback riding, and even forest canopy ziplining are literally less than five minutes outside the front gate, this well appointed and tastefully decorated cabin (with a bidet and garden jacuzzi tub in the primarybath, and a double oven in the kitchen) can also satisfy at night or on rainy days to serve up uninterrupted Internet streaming options on its multiple screens where entertainment or information about the surrounding areas and amenities can be enjoyed via the SpaceX Starlink system installed on property. It's everything Lake Lure has to offer, without the infamous Lake Lure connectivity limitations. Your existing cell service signals and bandwidth are also strong at this cabin thanks to our elevation and onsite tower-mounted cell receiver.

Screens aren't your only option for downtime however. You will enjoy soaking in the hot tub and sharing stories and spending time with friends and loved ones around the firepit. The basement holds a huge game room equipped with a card table, kids and adult board games, corn hole, ring toss, a dartboard, and a professional grade ping-pong table, which with a push of a button becomes a black light glow-in-the-dark ping-pong experience where the ball, paddles, and stars on the wall come alive with light. In the loft are books and magazines, a reading area, and a jigsaw puzzle table awaits.

This cabin, appropriately named “Peaceful Peak”, is part of the Riverbend community, which offers renters free access to private amenities not available to other surrounding properties. Come enjoy Riverbend's private non-motorized lake with a private beach and covered or uncovered picnic areas, or our private swimming and fishing hole, or our private nature walking trail. Or just step out the front door and take a 15 minute walk in nature around the gravel road loop. There is no traffic up at Peaceful Peak. We are the last stop on the mountain. The deck of this home looks out into the forest where deer walk by daily. It is the most quiet and secluded section of the Riverbend community. Please note that the roads in Riverbend are packed gravel.

Groceries, gas, and multiple restaurants are less than 10 minutes away, as is everything that downtown Lake Lure has to offer, including the public beach and water slides on the lake. Chimney Rock and Chimney Rock State Park is just five minutes beyond the drive in to Lake Lure. We are a 45 minute drive to Asheville, The Biltmore estate, dozens of hiking trails, and amenities galore.
