Luxe Log Cabin w/ Modern Finishes & Mtn Views

Great place, responsive host, updated amenities, great Mountain views and close to Cataloochee skiing.

Kitchen was amazing. Cabin was well built. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was the heat as not on when we arrived and it took an entire day and a half to warm up with nights into the teens.

Our stay was pleasant, the cabin needs a little attention to detail. The grill was a bit dirty, and the spider webs on the above window frames were huge, I’m not afraid of spiders but the kids and wife are!!! The biggest issue I had was the trash. Having to drive a mile to drop off trash on a weekend was impossible dumpster was close. And the inconvenience of having to stuff the rental car with trash bags not ideal. The garbage procedure should be listed in description. The last thing I want to worry about during vacation is trash. But other wise place was comfortable. But I would definitely ask about trash disposal next time I rent. I have rented for years and never had to drive anywhere to dump trash.

We really enjoyed our weekend here- the cabin is clean and cozy with a great modern kitchen and a good location for exploring the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area. The host is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely book here again!

This cabin spares no expense. Scott was an exceptional host, exceptional communication- and the cabin itself, immaculate. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and it’ll be the “go to” cabin for our future stays.

Great location for us. The home is situated close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. It’s very easy to get to and has a great view. Beautiful home, well appointed with everything we needed. Owner was very responsive.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Bug. Every single detail was perfect. The home came equipped with absolutely everything you need for the most comfortable stay. Minutes away from the mountains and so many things to do. We would absolutely stay here again! By far our favorite vacation spot so far.

My wife, sister, and me had a wonderful time in the Luxe Log Cabin! We love the beautiful wood floors and wood ceilings that gives the place a rustic feel. The home is fully equipped, decorated to perfection, and the scenery from the family room and back porch is fabulous and would never get old. Having one master bedroom down (there is actually two bedrooms down) is perfect for someone who might be older or handicapped. So many fun things to do that are close by such as white water rafting, golfing, horse back riding, scenic tours, The Biltmore Estate, etc. A+.

We loved everything about the cabin, Scott was very helpful and quick to reply. The place was so cozy and very beautifully placed on the mountain side. Great views! Only 10 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Area. Would certainly return!

This was the cleanest, up to date rental ever. Scott was super to deal with!! Wish he had more rental homes.

Everything was great except the ice maker didnt work.

A pleasant 4 night stay. We had a few issues upon arriving and did have contact with mgt. All in all a good getaway .

We had 4 generations of family from ages 5-77… cabin was perfect for my parents who are slightly disabled and can’t walk well, there was very limited steps, 1st floor bedroom with walk in shower for them…. Plenty of space for everyone! We were a short drive to Santa Land and Cherokee which made it convenient for us….

Cabin is beautiful and very clean. Location is great but the driveway is very steep and narrow. Limited parking and turnaround room. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this cabin just be aware of the parking situation.

My husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to celebrate our 40th anniversary at this very clean and well-appointed cabin in Maggie Valley, very close to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. So much fun that we hope to return someday for more sweet memories!

Almost don’t want anyone else to find this amazing cabin!! Everything you see in photos, even beyond in person. Not one thing was NOT thought of by owners for our stay! 45 min from Asheville airport made it a breeze! Thanks so much! Hope we can come back in the future. PS. The temperature was ooh-la-la! And the deck was perfect to enjoy it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It's a beautiful house, with a mix of modern & mountain cabin. There are phone chargers embedded in the kitchen island. The beds were quite comfortable. I loved the fan in the upstairs bedroom. I also loved that all the beds were at least queen size. I also loved that there were multiple beds of that size on the first floor. It made traveling with older family members much easier because they didn't have to climb lots of steps to be able to sleep in a comfortable sized bed. They do have several games there you are able to play. There are also some staples there for your use in the pantry closet & the drawers. Be aware that the road to the property is steep. The driveway is even steeper. You don't have to drive very far for either. We loved the fire pit. Sitting outside with the family was the favorite part of our trip. There is a *folder* of information. Be sure to read that and the sticky notes. It took a moment or two for me to figure it out the dishwasher then I read the sticky note! The host was very efficient & very easy to work with. The location was perfect for us. Close to both Maggie Valley & Waynesville. I would definitely stay at this location again.

this was a perfect home. Great design, views, amenities, new appliances and great location. We'll be looking forward to another stay there in future.
