Cabin was in a remote area of FairPlay that provided a wonderful view. The pictures provided showcasing the cabin were representative of the actual place. I would suggest to keep your group under 10 ppl as one of our guests had to sleep on a couch. There weren’t any pull out sofas. The place offered all the standard amenities and the hot tub and the Traeger grill were nice upgrades. The major drawback was the hot water available for showering. Hot water was either not available or would run out within 8-9 minutes, which made it really hard for everyone in a group of 10 to shower throughout the day. Contact for the cabin was communicative, friendly but had little remedy for the hot water. Finally, we did have some run-in’s with mice in the downstairs area. One welcomed us when we first checked in and a second one was caught in a trap the 3rd night which got disposed of at 100am in the morning. Overall a nice place with a good view but shortcuts with hot water and trouble with mice dropped this from a 5 star experience to a 3 star experience.

This stay exceeded my expectations in every way. The house its self was very spacious and clean, the massive windows highlight a great view. The location is the perfect middle ground where you feel like you’re out in the wilderness, but you’re also still close to town. Our 10 guests all slept comfortably and I was more than happy with our stay. The host is also very responsive and makes the check in/out process very easy.
