The views and sunset were beautiful. The fields were full of flowers, and there is plenty of wildlife around. The beds were comfortable, the home is very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We took advantage of the 8-person hot tub as well as the grill. Our family took day trips to Hebgen Lake to fish, Yellowstone which is about 35 min. drive and Jackson Hole Wyoming/The Grand Tetons which are about 2.5 hours away. We all really enjoyed our stay! We highly recommend this cabin!

Saw lots of wildlife, which was a major reason we chose this location. Neil was a great host and stopped by to make sure everything was going good - which it was. We would stay here again if we go back to this area.

Wandering moose was a great getaway for our family. We had plenty of space and the accomodations were great. Super clean and had everything we needed! Loved that there was a washer and dryer to help us get through the week we were there. We enjoyed watching the stars in the hot tub in the evenings after hikes in Grand Teton or Yellowstone during the days. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

The family and I enjoyed this cabin near Yellowstone this summer. Gorgeous property and the perfect distance from Yellowstone. Awesome trails and fishing less then 10 miles from the property.

Every aspect went as planned, the property was ideal for our needs and it’s proximity to YNP made it just what we were looking for. It was the perfect place to gather as family in the evenings.

The wandering moose was a lucky delight. We scooped up a week at this brand new “cabin” where the field was full of wildflowers. It’s no small cabin with huge windows and a comfortable 2 bed, 2 bath + huge garage with beds for the kids. There is also great outdoors space to enjoy the sunsets or to stargaze (and if you don’t catch a heatwave a brand new hot tub!). The cabin is nicely decorated and super clean with everything you need. And the owners are fantastic - available if you need them but not intrusive if you want your space. We’d love to come back when the snow covers the property to see the change in scenery!

The Wandering Moose cabin was perfect for our Island Park/Yellowstone vacation. We fit comfortably with 5 kids. They loved the new hot tub. The decor was charming, and the space was super clean. The view is great! The neighborhood is quiet! Fantastic place to stay! Neil was very helpful and a great host! Would stay here again without hesitation!
