Perfect location in the woods for a quiet getaway. Very spacious cabin to bring friends and family. The cabin has everything you need and plenty of games to keep you entertained.

The description mentions the dirt road, so make sure you notice it! This does, for sure, slow down the time to get in and out of the cabin. The cabin location is beautiful, the cabin is HUGE! The owner is being honest, calling it rustic. Overall, we had a great time, it was fun being in the woods, the cabin being so big. There are 3 comfortable queen beds, the bunk room beds are not comfortable at all, even for 8-year-old boys. Beyond that bunk room, there is a futon downstairs that also was not sleep-worthy. IMO, some better mattresses and sleeping options would be a HUGE improvement. The poker table was great, the large eating table was great. I would echo what others have said about cleanliness, the owner should consider other vendors.

My family rented this cabin out for a week hoping for a perfect getaway from the heat of the valley and we experienced just that!! The cabin is exactly as pictured and was secluded enough that we have all the privacy needed; the surrounding scenery was simply breathtaking!! John, the host, was very personable and easy to get ahold of in the event it was needed! We were entrusted and unbothered for the entire trip while also feeling so welcomed and as if we were at our own home. We will certainly be keeping this location in mind for future Prescott endeavors!! :)

We went up to Prescott with our family (my husband, 3 adult children with their spouses and 5 grandchildren ages 3-7) It is very rustic and definitely a cabin experience in the woods. It was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing too fancy as not to worry about kids running around the house and outside. Our grandchildren had the best time in the woods exploring around the house. We played board games, watched movies and cooked lots of food during our stay. It was spacious, private and peaceful. The road heading up was a bumpy uphill dirt road, so take it easy. If you don’t have 4 wheel drive. We would stay at this cabin again if we were going with the family.

We had a big family group including dogs. We had a wonderful time. This cabin is large and a little rustic which was perfect for my family and I. The kids had a great time as well as the adults. This will become an annual trip for us.

First time renting a cabin and we were truly lucky it was John’s place! Beautiful home and the scenery is breathtaking. We had to leave a little earlier than scheduled but hopefully we get to go back soon. The owner was very helpful, we appreciate the communication and him checking in with us before the trip. Great place for a big family with little ones, lots of things to do.

Access code did not function; had to crawl through a small window into a sink for access. Cleanliness was severely disappointing; two of the beds were not sheeted or made. Misrepresentation of photos… sad. Safety and security of the property was very concerning, both for personal safety liability, with many dangerous conditions and well as close proximity of mature foliage excessively adjacent to the property structure. I took many photos of the actual condition of the property, and facility, that I would be more than willing to share.
