The rustic cottage was perfect for a get together weekend with the girls. We enjoyed a night at the Shore Club (dinner & dance) and the beautiful beach the next day. The only downside was the bunk beds could use new mattresses because the springs in them could be felt when sleeping. (We did have adults in those beds, not children, so that probably made the springs more noticeable.)We somehow missed knowing ahead of time that the water is not potable, so definitely bring drinking water with you. We ended up using a large jug that was in the cabin to get water from a faucet in the campground. The campground staff were very nice, we hope to return again next year.

We stayed in Cabin 1, which is located in a quiet part of the property. Initially we rented this specific cabin because the back deck looked like we could gate the deck entrance (we did) to accomodate one of our dogs who prefers being outside. The cabin itself is rustic with some old fashioned surprises. But the master bed was so comfortable!! It was a pleasure to fall into it after a good day of exploring. 3 eateries within 5 minutes walking distance. Nice clean beach for dog walking (before 9 and after 7). The grounds were immaculate. And the neighbors from the campground were friendly! All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would return here again!

Cozy and met all our needs.Weather was chilly the night we stayed so used the fireplace to compliment the heaters and were toasty warm in no time.Love a fireplace! The only thing I would have changed would be the wooded area in back, tidy up a bit. Thank-you
