Stayed May 23, 2025The stay itself wasn't great. We give that 1 star. A/C didn't work properly, bed felt like padded plywood. Pillows not great. A bunch of what I believe to be black wood ants. The cabin isn't secluded. It's in a neighborhood with close neighbors. Has a broken down camper right beside it. There is no living room. The couch was quite literally against the tv to give room to walk in the door. A neighboring dog that will constantly bark if anything moves in the cabin or anywhere around it. Pictures are deceiving.That said, I understand that some of these isssues are just opinion and maybe circumstantial. My wife and i got zero sleep so we left early. The owner kindly and without conflict reimbursed half of our stay (originally a 2 night stay). Would WE stay there again? No. Do we very much appreciate the response times and kindness of our host? ABSOLUTELY!

Stayed Jul 23, 2024Just a short trip but affordable and relaxing. Location is in a very peaceful neighborhood and close to both Showlow and Pinetop-Lakeside
